Thanks a lot. Excellent explanation. Maybe you know which program is better for designing electrical circuits? AutoCAD Electrical or E-Plan, specifically in North America
Both AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN Electric P8 are excellent programs for designing electrical circuits, but their suitability depends on your specific needs and industry. Here's a comparison tailored to North America:
1. AutoCAD Electrical Best For: General electrical design, especially in industries where AutoCAD is already a standard. Key Features: Part of the widely-used AutoCAD ecosystem, making it easier to integrate with other Autodesk products. Extensive library of electrical symbols compliant with ANSI and IEC standards. Strong compatibility with DWG file formats. User-friendly interface for those familiar with AutoCAD. Advantages: Easier to learn if you have prior AutoCAD experience. Excellent for projects requiring collaboration with teams using other AutoCAD tools. Better for projects that mix electrical schematics with mechanical designs (e.g., plant layouts). Disadvantages: Limited automation compared to EPLAN. Requires more manual effort for complex projects, like large-scale panel wiring. 2. EPLAN Electric P8 Best For: Automation and electrical design projects, particularly in industries like manufacturing, automotive, and energy. Key Features: Powerful tools for creating detailed schematics and wiring diagrams with high automation capabilities. Supports multi-user collaboration and project management. Excellent for generating reports like BOMs, terminal diagrams, and wiring lists. Robust compliance with North American standards (e.g., UL and CSA) and European standards. Advantages: Superior automation features save time on repetitive tasks (e.g., automatically generating wire numbering). Better for projects requiring extensive documentation and cross-references. Strong focus on modular design and system integration. Disadvantages: Higher learning curve, especially for AutoCAD users. Typically more expensive than AutoCAD Electrical.
When I get a Coil, contact or something "Modify Variable" (4:20) window does not pop up. Instead of it "Component Properties" is pop up. How can I solve this problem. Please help me. Thank You.
Hi there, Inside the "Component Properties" window, under the "Identification" section, you can change the component name, its code or number, and other feature.
Missing overcurrent protective device on power circuit and overload relay NC on control circuit? Hi is their posible to add this devices in simulation?
To give a gate pulse to a thyristor, you apply a small trigger pulse to the thyristor's gate terminal: 1. Connect the power circuit Connect the power circuit to the load across the thyristor's anode and cathode. 2. Apply the trigger pulse Apply a small gate pulse to the thyristor's gate terminal. The pulse only needs to last a few microseconds to turn the thyristor on. 3. Current flows The thyristor will turn on and current will flow from the anode to the cathode. 4. Remove the gate signal The thyristor will remain on until the gate signal is removed and the voltage through it reaches zero. 💚💚
I want to learn to draw electrical diagrams, and I would like your advice on which is better, learning drawing on the eplan program or Automation studio
If you're mainly interested in electrical diagrams and design: EPLAN might be the better choice due to its specific focus on electrical engineering tasks. If you're interested in broader automation systems and simulations: Automation Studio might be more suitable, especially if you're working in industries where control systems are a significant focus.✌✌
@@plcgoods thank you for replying. I am interested in the field of automation and I also want to learn to draw electrical diagrams. I have started learning to program Delta PLC controllers.
Hi there, I don't know why your PLC card doesn't have "Technical and Description". Maybe you insert it from a wrong category ( sometimes an element can be added from different categories which each category supports a different standard or property). Please pay attention to video and see that I insert my PLC card from which category.
Please, when I double-click on the push button, I didn't see anything on the property window, except component Name and Internal ID. Please how can I get all the information to change the color, Thank you
Hi there, I've never seen this problem. please pay attention to the video and do all explained steps exactly. Maybe you are using an inappropriate pushbutton from a different library. Note that, some elements such as figures or texts have fewer properties for modifying
Throughout of creation of these tutorial series, I might develop a simple sample of such program but you can google schematic of it and after that i am sure you should be able to develop its related PLC control code.
Hello sir, I really appreciate this video, thanks for it...But I have a question. it´s possible to use two PLC cards at the same time ? and also to connect simultaneously two bars ? it´s because I need to make a simulation with more sequences with actuators, so I need more inputs and outputs to do it.
Hi dear, thanks for watching our videos. Almost all PLC types support some extension cords. So, it's easy to increase the number of your inputs and outputs. Also, you can use external cards inside the automation studio software.
To get a better understanding of how PLCs are used in respect of cards, spend some more time on my PLC related training videos. thus far i have 3 video courses related to S7-1200, Allen Bradley SLC 500 , ControlLogix 5000 and Delta PLCs. You will learn a lot just by watching them let alone doing some exercises on your own
Hi, you may get the Factory IO trial version (30 days) at the following link: factoryio.com/start-trial/. try to download it, use it for 30 days using our tutorial videos because that is the mostly used software in the market.
Please discuss the issue either here in the comment section or you can email me using my current email address of info@plcgoods.com , thanks for checking the content

Hi there, you may need to buy its specific library. It’s better to ask your question from the software vendor.

How give gate pulse to thyristor
To give a gate pulse to a thyristor, you apply a small trigger pulse to the thyristor's gate terminal:
1. Connect the power circuit
Connect the power circuit to the load across the thyristor's anode and cathode.
2. Apply the trigger pulse
Apply a small gate pulse to the thyristor's gate terminal. The pulse only needs to last a few microseconds to turn the thyristor on.
3. Current flows
The thyristor will turn on and current will flow from the anode to the cathode.
4. Remove the gate signal
The thyristor will remain on until the gate signal is removed and the voltage through it reaches zero. 💚💚

i need Automation Studio software. can you share it?
Sorry, the trial version only allows you to open files to view. To purchase please contact Famic Technologies Inc.
I get an error saying the remaining inputs and outputs have one free connector
Well, what i can say, if you are doing things exactly the way i did, then you should get the same result right?
