Despite the undeniable creepiness and surrealness, I find this to be very comfy and relaxing too. It feels like the perfect escape from the anxieties and stresses of the real-world, entering a place out of time, where you can reflect or empty your mind and find some semblance of calm and peaceful solitude.
It's kinda funny you say this. Just last weekend, I took my niece to an indoor water park. One of my favorite attractions there was a playground in about a foot of water underneath. It's difficult to explain why, but I tried telling my wife that it felt somehow surreal, like the kind of thing I'd see in one of my dreams. I sent my niece this video. She said the music scared her. XD I agreed, but said that it's oddly relaxing too. The exact same can be said of the visuals of this environment, as well. I wouldn't mind being there. I can already tell what it smells like.
