Well things have evolved a bit since 2008, but nicely put together and trully smooth flight it was (but no wind as I guess from the still tall grass...). Your ground station is a bit messy, but I loved the carry case!!!!! I hope you still fly this nice plane. I have a simmilar one myself ;) Cheers.
wow great vid!idk why but it just seems like very high quality. ur easy is a rugged beast but man its got great stuff...how can u fly for over 2 hrs? gliding?
Increadibly well set out and thought out setup there scrtsqrl, beautifull machine, one question if i could ask, i noticed you have mechanical pan and tilt you say in the vid, with a 6 channel setup, as i have. How do you pan while still being able to use your alerons ? Using pitch as tilt, in idle up i could have motor at set rpm and have control of camera, but unless i used landing gear channel to toggle between alerons and pan i cant work out how to do it ?
thanks for the video it helped alot. I was wondering, what kind of range do you get with your setup? i would also like to use my dx6i spektrum transmitter but im not sure what kind of receiver i would need for it, any advice...?
@24262748 I have an FPV easystar with standard wings, that weights about 1.250 Kg (lol)and it flies just great, no stall and low bat. consumption, low enough to keep it with a 4000 mA 3s lipo in the air for about 18 mins.So yep it is possible :P
@jbanne1997 Ah right cheers for the reply, i dont have any potentiometers for ch5 or 6 on my futaba 6xp just simple switches, so guess that rules that one out
Two hours of flight time :O You are able to keep the plane in air for two hours??? 3km meter range? This sounds too good to be true :O Are you able to get the same performance with a 2.4ghz system? Do camcorders with the av*out* lead mean that they can also play footage from the wireless camera? When you bought the plane did you get the gyros with it, or did they come fitted? I'm looking at a site right now and it doesn't quite say. So many questions!
In the lake part of the video, it looks like you live in a mountainous area. How high is it, and how does the plane perform at that altitude? Have you considered raising the motor in order to fit a larger propeller? What do you recommend for controller and video frequencies?
@jbanne1997 Ah right i see, problem is i need a channel for my blackstork osd thats turning up any day. Thats a whole other problm lol. The info there is great, cheers for that, but my futaba 6exp doent have a potentiometer on ch5 or ch6. Im using it in heli mode so in idle up chn6 is pitch and actes as the tilt which works fine. Only a on / off switch on remaining free channel, is it possible to change switch to a potentiometer output ?
@angrygunsmith: I was about to buy a DX6i and easystar. Where can I research info on frequencies? (I already have a receiver for a DX6i as well as a 900 Mhz video Tx lying around)
HI , i do have a Aiptek A-HD+ that also works as a DVR but every single time i got signal loss ( even for a few milliseconds ) the camera switch from DVR back to camera mode and it does it all the time , do you have the same problem with your MPVR ?
GREAT JOB!!! great pictures n movies... Top engenering...
Well Done! Great step by step info.
Congratulations!!!! Awesome!!! GOod Job
jbanne!! Thanks for this video!! Congratulations you heve a very interesting fvp system. Enjoy it...!!!

Thanks for sharing that.

I like it great job can u publish a full parts list for fpv setup ?
WOW ! Amazing.
Good Job!
Nice job..
GENIALNE :)
@cayote64
Ch1-4...standard Aileron, Elevator, Throttle, Rudder Set-up.
Ch5- Tilt switch (up and down only)
Ch6- Pan potentiometer.
It flies really well. Check out my other videos for proof.
wow great vid!idk why but it just seems like very high quality. ur easy is a rugged beast but man its got great stuff...how can u fly for over 2 hrs? gliding?
I have an older version. It is not HD capable. It records through video poor signals and does not revert to camera mode as you described.

In a quad, you don't need pan and tilt...the quad itself is the pan and tilt...:)
Yes. This way, you can swap wing sets...

@boomanfabo31 Depends on the environment and your set-up. I got out to 2km on a 100mW VTx and probably could've gone out further...

@Dazbutty no it is in the camera bag that i wear around my neck.

@snowman3514 I use a 6 ch rx.

@VIPER4054 that set up costs way more than the $0.25 I spent on mine. I would try a Cularis.
@tflyer180
There were 5 servos and 2 Gyros. I think I got away with that because I was running on 2s LiPos. BTW, I now use a UBEC.
@muffdriver69 I said why in the post: to fit a larger propeller.
@muffdriver69 about 38 ozs.
awesome setup? what is the name of the song?
@tflyer180 No. It hangs around my neck.
What's the weight on that setup of yours? Very impressive. I'd gone with some sort of OSD instead of all those gadgets in the nose though ;)
@tflyer180 Sorry, I meant 6 servos, like you said...
@casonjimmy 2200-3700 mAH. parallel.
It is missing YATO boosters and a parachute.
Did you have to trim the easy glider wing roots to fit the easystar. I have a couple of easystars and just happen to have a set of easyglider wings.
I have a futaba 7ch in my quadrocopter which ch do I connect the 2 pan tilt servo to please help me and to config my receiver
How did you do that trimming of the easyglider wings? Have you a video or picture of that?

Not pretty, but good layout/setup :)
@24262748 Check my channel....nearly all the videos were made with this airplane. :)
