I'm looking for a friend of mine his name is Ryan Davis and he live's in cedar rapids,ia I hope and 🙏 he ok if you do know him just tell him his other family still love and care about so much and his little Mom Mommy Annie,V love's him so much and always missing him so much tooo
Well if anyone or anybody do know Ryan .G. Davis just have him text the one do care or just send this to him because I do thank a lot about him those days so much and I'm so sorry I hurt him ❤️❤️❤️
The neighborhood looks like any around the midwest. Nice truck, think I would have tucked away (parking ramp). Sadly story under-reported. Should have been top of the network newscast. Shout out to the hardy people of Iowa now pulling themselves up the bootstraps. Where are the stores (Target, Walmart, Sams Club, Costco): we are sending 2 truckloads of bottled water, we are sending 2 truckloads of food, we are sending 3 skid steers or 3 front end loaders, here's 20 wood chippers, chain saws
The first thing I did was bring my garbage can and recycle bin inside. Then, I put bricks on my salt and sand containers which were full ... figured they wouldn't go anywhere but the lids would have been gone. When a storm is on it's way...just assume that there will be high winds and bring your loose items inside...so you don't broadcast your trash all over town and lose your cans in the process.
Whoa! We were all taking turns watching through our front screen door!! We lost our 100yo oak out front. Uprooted! Our black walnut is permanently bent, so it’s gonna have to come down. What is that tree on the right? A fir or pine? I’m trying to find something, that seems resilient to these storms, to replace the oak that shaded our house in the heat of late afternoon. You got any pine ones from it left? The pines across the street lost all there’s before they’d gotten big, so baby pinecones everywhere! Can’t walk barefoot out here right now!
This just further proves mother nature is EVERYWHERE and no one is safe if she is mad. If there is a garage at this house why isn't the truck in there lol.
imagine that going on for HOURS in a major hurricane? I will be going through CR this weekend. I am sure there will still be visible tree damage all of the city for me to see.
these winds are like 35-50 sustained not even hurricane force in most gusts. This is equivalent to a Tropical storm with relatively strong gusts, probably in the 60-70 range. This is NOTHING like a major hurricane, please dont compare this to something like a Katrina or Irma or Dorian or Maria, those are just on a completely different level of insanity.
The truck and the trash can held together like true soldiers. Seriously though... it is scary. On another note, what is that speckle of momentary flash of light on 1:04 by the front busch specifically 🤔?
So, a lot of leaves blew off the trees and the trash can got knocked over. AND? Here in Las Vegas during the spring, 75+ MPH winds are pretty common, especially here on the west side of town near the mountains. It blows the leaves into the pool and we clean it out later. Typically a few days later as our spring time wind storms tend to blow on and off to days at a time. Get back to me when you have a good tornado to show.
Hi Ryan. My name is Miriam, a producer from the production company Arrow International Media. I tried leaving a comment before but I think it was flagged as spam. We are making a new documentary series about extreme weather for Discovery and looking at covering this Derecho. Would you be open to us using this footage? Do let me know - my contact info is on my channel page. Hope to hear from you soon. Miriam
now imagine this... During Hurricane Maria, Puerto Rico had sustained winds that were higher than what this derecho blew, and they blew for 5.5 hours straight....
The trash can fought till the end, fare thee well old buddy, you served us well.
Why not bring it the garage so it doesn’t get blown away??

That trash can started in the backyard with a closed gate... the storm took it to the curb and closed the gate as well. .. lol
Call me weird , but i love stormy weather. It's relaxing.
Am i the only one watching every doracho video on RUclips?

No, I'm watching every derecho video I can find.

No, I am binge watching these today as well 🌪
5:06 RUBBISH BIN: “I was told there would be cake”
Troy Sundt The cake is a lie
Gotta love the strength of a norway spruce
Yeah
Im from norway
Amazing how you guys are dealing with high storm winds and out here in California we are having the ground shake on a daily basis... Cheers!
The shithole is falling apart, get out while you can LOL.
13:13 Blue garbage can :"Bye, I am out of here." You are lucky one of those trees didnt fall in that nice truck.
Actually, the garbage can looks green to me... :)
I thought it was brown??
black i think 🤔
he is black and in part 2 backyard cam ...also a blue bin
Oh guys i think your all colorblind a bit but its just very dark green
I was so glad the tree didn't fall on that awesome truck! It sure made me nervous - but the truck made it!

We can all agree that the trash cart held its own. even though the truck block the draft of wind from giving it a good toss. lol
Yeah
5:10 I thought for sure that trash can was eyeing up that Silverado getting ready to attack it.
5:05 epic fall save
That tree hung in there amazing footage.
1st 20 seconds, hear the little birds chirping.....
They should change the name of the city to Rapid Cedars.
Yes
Lmao
Can anybody tell me where I can acquire one of these trash cans?

Was one hell of storm not even remotely close to an ocean! 🇨🇦 never gets any good storms except snow!
hey atleast the tree got a little trim it was long anyway😂
I would have took cover in that resilient garbage bin!
We do have some severe storms here in Europe but those in America are even stronger and more often.
We are just chilling in cedar rapids
This just further proves mother nature is EVERYWHERE and no one is safe if she is mad. If there is a garage at this house why isn't the truck in there lol.
Looks like your spruce withstood the intense wind better than your neighbors
What brand or model camera do you use? I’m looking for some yours seem to have done well in this storm
Not even a leaf on that truck! Built Chevy tough!!!
I named this derecho, Derecho Andrea.
I think I would have moved that expensive Chevy truck out from under the tree
Probably wasn't home. This looks to be from a security camera.
@@GalaxyRangerNiko yes as I watched this , it does look like a front door camera. I really need to get one
Looks like the street got totally flooded.

9:00 is it me, or did the wind / air pressure blow the mic on the camera? The audio suddenly turned to shit there...
No it’s rain. It’s inside the mic.
This storm brought winds up to 145 MPH. Putting it at Category 4 on the Saffer-Simpson Scale.
The truck and the trash can held together like true soldiers. Seriously though... it is scary.

The truck is heavy trash can light. Trash blows away trucks do not lmAo 🤣
Can in the wind (official music video - wind remix)
Luar biasa menakutkan 😱 nature’s temper tantrum.

Oh. The bin was overturned due to a very strong gust of wind at 6:19
Wheelie bin waved goodbye to the trashcan as it bailed, LOL...nope not going yet...bye...hilarious, hope all were ok.
You can hear a transformer exploding at 0:07
