Great to see Ford back in. 2 voices over comms that let me think a mission's going to go fine - his and Venom's. Whoever edited this one is a craftsman. No confusion following even the most batshit contact. And the tension built up by those non-POVs... it's like JTF Vigil's inside a Fincher film. Most excellent work. This channel's why I can't enjoy 90% of military ops depicted in popular media anymore. Bugs the hell out of me when they don't follow the most basic of GLid's tactical drills.

Every time we're on this map, I get chills because I know full well one way or another, things are going to go tits up. Beautiful work as usual gentlemen. Even when things started to get out of hand, you were quick to reel it back in and keep it all under control. I'm glad to keep eyes on, using you guys as an example to see this stuff through.

Just watched the one in the hospital map and now this one, and I gotta say at first sight i was wondering why this one feels a lot more chaotic and messy, maybe even rushed, but then I started thinking about the 3-dimensional space, and the chaotic layout, and then I remembered the fact that half these walls are glass you can shoot through and it suddenly made a lot more sense... Visibility was also a lot worse with all the lights flashing and the smoke screens, so it makes sense when I think about it for a second. Nice effort on this one team, it's always a delight to see you guys clear one of these maps with military efficiency

the absolute chaos gave me a migrane but I absolutely love it!! goes to show how insane a real shooting situation can get and its amazing that there are guys in real life willing to jump head on in these kind of situations for the sake of others safety. respect.

I can appreciate the total chaos of the club in full swing as an example of how absolutely chaotic a battlefield can be as well. Maybe you will get lucky and the devs will reach out to you and others like you for input for the next update. I think it would be really cool if you had time to try to reach out to them somehow. P.S. absolutely love the channel just discovered it about a month ago.
Love the communication even when things get hectic you can really tell they know what their doing it really makes it feel like a team rather than one guy with people just following him

This op messed a bit with your rhytm, understandable given all of your senses were being hit hard all at once by music, lights and tight confines. Not an ideal place to fight by any means. Shame on the few operatives being injured. Maybe splitting the team in 2 squads covering different grounds might have helped? Have the feeling the numbers didn’t play in your favour in these cramped spaces.

This map is utter chaos. Been running this one non-stop to beat my best time in prep for 1.0 because I think this is the hardest map in the game as it's so hard to clear everything efficiently. Even with what looks like seven or eight operators you guys had a hard time and took heavy casualties. Best I got so far has been 17 minutes.
I know it's kind of pointless now with 1.0 about to break them all, but a modlist would still be much appreciated for the last couple days of this patch!
At least I'd like to know what your suspect count mod is. I assume it's "Ready or Not Here I Come" with a Terrorist Hunt setting, but which one it is I'd like to know.
No its our own mod that increases the enemy to max per map and increases their aggressiveness.

@@Splinter07 The "Ready or Not Here I Come" mod says it can have up to 40 but I never get more than 18. I play solo with AI so it's still very difficult, but I'm knocking entire minutes off my run times because it's becoming too easy. One good run took me from 17 minutes PB on Neon to just under 10, and I'm not really speeding up my approach at all it's just lucky spawns.
I can see through all your tactics and it's just amazing, I feel that every choice you make is exactly my choice. Keep creating such amazing quality content, which is very hard to find today.

I went into this video expecting fun gameplay. I came out learning a hell of a lot.

Videos are always top tier. Really great to learn terminology and how to apply it in these situations. Any recommendations for “The Spider” mission? I got 2 mates that operate similar to your style, but we keep getting rolled by hostiles tucked in we cant see via mirror cam. We tried more flashes and wedging behind us, but there isnt enough utility to get you through all the rooms/engagements so by the end its just down to a breach and clear. The AI on that map don’t give you any chances either, one mistake or not keeping gun on point and that runs over. It makes it harder if you are really trying to not just gun them down and give them a chance to lay down their arms, but a lot of the time that can get you killed (hince why the flashbangs i feel are so important).
I’m not an expert on room clearing but I’m in the army (active duty) forward observer working with the infantry boys they explained and let me practice with them and my question to the PL was “what if we can’t see every nook and cranny of the room we’re clearing and someone is well hidden?” He responded with “you can try and mitigate for hidden combatants by quick entry but there’s never a situation you can completely control you’re either lucky or you’re times up that day.”

Effective strategies and comms in tac shooters just scratch an itch only WOW full dungeon raids can partially scratch. I don't even play WOW, but there's something just so damn satisfying seeing great comms and leadership in game.

Fun fact. I've trained for situation like this but at pre entry. Never been on situation when I'm fully exposed and big firefight starts. I've got cocky thinking i will take down 3 suspect at once 😂 I've taken at least one with me before I've dropped.

Normally military guys that try to apply real life tactics to games ( Knowing you dont have you six senses in a game) fail. I think I finally have a game for them! Edit:they would still get fragged by die hard fps average player, they too static.
Fps player civvies are no match for proper mil tactics.

@@justalaymangoodatthings In contrary pvp tactics doesn't work IRL. But because PvP allows you for dying and respawn quickly there's no real stakes, players are not afraid of their lives like IRL people do. The second of all the players always know that the opposite entry is coming by it's design so they can get very brave holding nasty angles because it's a game mode that allows for such dirty tactics in pvp games. There's nothing real about pvp matches compared to IRL OPs. It's just a bunch of gamers trying to flex on games, trying to be smart. While bots (if designed properly) in a good tactical shooter PvE modes actually are afraid of their lives, they very often doesn't know that entry team is coming and chances of staying on nasty angles are very seldom due to the human nature where suspect rather stay on soft corners than hard corners to pop someone's head. Taking headshots is another topic that works well only between player vs player.
I could go on why we choosing to play PvE more over PvP modes but I hope you at least grasp the idea why GLID channel is not all about PvP matches flexing their gaming skills. We just simply love that thrilling military adrenaline, brotherhood and going against authentic artificial human behavior even if bots will never be as intelligent as player itself. Our goal is to showing that you actually can transfer real military tactics and have great serious fun while doing it.
Nothing personal mate. If you want a channel only for pvp there's plenty out there on youtube. Sometimes we're gonna show some competitive PvP (non-arcade) military style matches (like not long time ago with Exfil game) but it will never be a priority.

i get frustrated at how little the flashes do to the suspects. time and time again tey just ignore them. also the cs gas is way too dense. if you use it, you cant fucking see through it. just stupid. real cs gas is NOT like that. for what ever reason tehy programmed this with it being more like a smoke.
