This fighting just once or maybe twice a year nonsense needs to end, if you're a pro with no injuries you should be fighting a minimum of 3 times a year.

His character reminds me a bit of the late great Rocky Marciano. No arrogance, not a big head whatsoever. Humble, soft spoken and respectful. Whether or not Usyk will go 49 fights undefeated like Marciano is yet to be seen... but I really like the guy, he's refreshing and good for boxing. Well done Oleksandr Usyk 👍
Not even remotely close to being the greatest. Nor is " the greatest" actually real. It's perception mostly. On sheer achievements he isn't close especially if we are going far back into boxing history. For example do you know any fighters from current times who went 40-0 in just one month? His record ended up being in 13 years 298-16-49kos and the only reason his kos were so low because over 200 fighters weighed more than him come fight time. He was also going blind in one eye from an injury he got in an early fight in his career. He was also the first multi division champ in an era with less weight classes making his weight cuts and jumps more than today's fighters with no PEDs as back then there weren't any. He also held 3 titles in 3 divisions in a time where there was only 1 belt per division went from welterweight to light heavyweight and literally fought and beat most in every division he was in. His name was Harry Greb. And there are others from the past like him. Usky couldn't do that if his life and nation depended on it. Good fighter though and I like him as a fighter. Just being realistic

His character reminds me a bit of the late great Rocky Marciano. No arrogance, not a big head whatsoever. Humble, soft spoken and respectful. Whether or not Usyk will go 49 fights undefeated like Marciano is yet to be seen... but I really like the guy, he's refreshing and good for boxing. Well done Oleksandr Usyk 👍

Not even remotely close to being the greatest. Nor is " the greatest" actually real. It's perception mostly. On sheer achievements he isn't close especially if we are going far back into boxing history. For example do you know any fighters from current times who went 40-0 in just one month? His record ended up being in 13 years 298-16-49kos and the only reason his kos were so low because over 200 fighters weighed more than him come fight time. He was also going blind in one eye from an injury he got in an early fight in his career. He was also the first multi division champ in an era with less weight classes making his weight cuts and jumps more than today's fighters with no PEDs as back then there weren't any. He also held 3 titles in 3 divisions in a time where there was only 1 belt per division went from welterweight to light heavyweight and literally fought and beat most in every division he was in. His name was Harry Greb. And there are others from the past like him. Usky couldn't do that if his life and nation depended on it. Good fighter though and I like him as a fighter. Just being realistic
