Hi Ravi The flashing eco light shows that the economy setpoint has been activated. The economy setpoint is a different setpoint that can be initiated during times when the cabinet is not being used (for example at night when a store is closed) If you wanted to deactivate this setting, you will need to navigate to the CNF folder. The parameter H31 controls the function of the UP key while the parameter H32 controls the function of the DOWN key. Either one of these will be set to 3 (which means economy mode activation). Press this key to activate or deactive the economy setpoint mode. Please remember any changes to any parameter in the CNF folder will require you to power down the controller or the cabinet and switch back on to fully save the new parameters. Hope this helps. The Hawco Team
Hi Diaa, Thanks for your question. To clarify, higher setpoint (SPH) and lower setpoint (SPL) is the range our target setpoint (1SP) can be selected between. It is good to set a higher and lower setpoint as it allows end users to change the setpoint (1SP) within the range or margin set up by the installer. Hi James The set point required should be between +8°C and +12°C, depending on the product (e.g. wine, beer, ale etc). Defrost cycles will be minimal as the evap temp will be above +1°C. The easiest way to set up your controller would be to start by applying one of the four standard defaults (AP1-AP2-AP3-AP4) which come with the Eliwell IDPlus 961.Then you can change the setpoint as required. The most suitable default application for a beer chiller is AP2. To find out how to load this default application, refer to page 14 of the IDPlus instruction manual which can be downloaded here - bit.ly/2WlSuon Then to adjust the setpoint to between +8°C and +12°C, refer to page 19 of the same instruction manual. A full description of the AP2 default parameters can be found on page 25. If you need any more advice, email technical@hawco.co.uk and we will do our best to help you.
Thanks for your comment. The OSP parameter refers to the temperature value that should be added to the setpoint when using the economy function mode. You should engage and disengage the economy function mode manually through a pre-configured key or controller digital input. You can configure the down key to do this. In this case, you should set parameter H32 to “3”. After that, power the unit off/on via the isolator. Then the DOWN button can be used to manually turn off/on economy function mode. The same function can also be found with IDPlus 971 and IDPlus 974 controllers. Refer to the Eliwell instruction manual for the IDPlus range of controllers for full details - see bit.ly/2WlSuon. Details of OSP setting can be found on page 26 and the H32 parameter on page 29. Hope that helps. Get in touch with technical@hawco.co.uk if you need further advice.
@@HawcoCoUk Ok? I gather that from the manual but specifically how? If my setpoint (SET) is set at -19 Degrees C and I put in an OSP setpoint of +5 Degrees, how does it affect my E1 (enviroment probe) reading. Will the actual independant measured temp be -14 or -24?
dear friend why in my controller eco light is blinking.

How would you go about setting this up on a beer chiller? Any advice would be great. Thanks

Top stuff thanks a lot for the reply
Informative thanks. Please discuss OSP setting in the CP folder and how it effects the setpoint. Thank you.

For this scenario, the probe will look to increase the set point by 5 deg C. from -19C to -14C while economy function mode is active
@@HawcoCoUk Ok, now it makes sense. Thank you
Great video Team.... Finally a simple explanation.... Can you guys do a similar video on the danfoss ERC range (213 ...214) thanks again
