You pretty much fall off the ledge and jump around where your Spartan's hip is parallel to the ledge. Too late and you'll fall, too early and you'll do a regular jump

fov 105. Sens 2,6,8. Deadzones all at the minimum before stick drift. You can increase Movement max input threshold for a quicker strafe.
