We all have the ability to learn and get better and I don't put that on no IQ test. People refuse to take the right steps for improvement and don't really study themselves well to know what is good about themselves.
But we shouldn't penalize low income for trying to get ahead! People on subsidy should be encouraged to save their way out of poverty without jumping their portion of rent past a certain point! As it is now one must save behind the govs back to get themselves out of poverty! And covertly help others escape poverty! We need another war on poverty like lbj gave us as it worked! American society will collapse with the elimination of upward mobility opportunities! Said Alexis detoqueville way back in 1837! And we have now reached the point of his predictions!
But if we change a meritocracy society for another type it will be almost impossible. We accept as society that we have to support and make efforts so that mentally disabled people can have a happy life. We label their condition and make a safe environment for them. Changing meritocracy will required that, in a big spectrum. So 90% of humans can accept they are mentally challenged in the eyes of the remaining 10%. That's the truth, but the truth is always rejected, it cause tremendous pain and cannot be easily accepted. We could implement as a society measures to make life and the World more equal to everyone, independently of their IQ. @@alexdraco9926meritocracy is unfair cuz most humans have an average iq or even lower. That's a fact. Statistically speaking the higher the iq the easier life gets. Those "normal" humans are not mentally challenged in the eyes of the remaining 10%? Of course they are, but the 10% can be polite enough to not pointed out. If we want to change a meritocratic society we cannot go for a full equalitarian society, that simply doesn't exist. We need to go for another type of meritocracy, that will protect 90% of humans and not just 5% as it currently does in the civilized World. When you are tremendously smart life is really simple, boring and easy for you. Our genetics make others life's unfair. We shouldn't try to avoid having more genius people around, but we cannot force the rest to level up with this 10%. It will be a natural process that hopefully will take just a few hundred years, but again you'll probably have a gap between the "normal" genius and the great genius. Human nature will keep producing differences that eventually will be accepted, with measures to protect the less gifted, or artificially equal through human intervention or technology, of any kind.

I mean, that’s a nice thought, but the reality is plenty of people are completely unskilled and not capable of keeping jobs because they can’t follow direction or can’t pay attention to detail… even when they have decent work ethic.
That's a cliché , not a fact. People are better at some things than they are at other things.

The unfortunate outcome is that you spell it UNFOTUNATE.
Why did this youtuber not let Peterson finish his thought?
I wonder if there only the slow peoples claped or the fast ones too
Sad that we continue to expand our intelligence while most peopl continue to expand their waistlines!!
If you observe carefully... The title is an IQ test.
Title: The "UNFOTUNATE" Outcome of having Low Intelligence????
............wow
But he was smart enough to write to you
@Legatus OP. You missed the point. He had enough common sense to seek help.
I also recognise that high IQ individuals have the possibility of an easier life, so they need don't need so much protection as normal humans.
Isn't that what Hitler thought of Jews?
@@maryannlaylanzon9885 are you comparing my words, of safe environments and a happy life for everyone, with Hitler toughs about Jews? Being different doesn't mean to be better. It's just different. You can be a genius or a mentally challenged person, but that doesn't define you as better or worst. But statistically speaking, those differences could have a huge impact in your life. Btw, Ashkenazi Jews have in average a higher IQ.
I'm afraid I don't understand your statement and would like you to explain are you claiming that the 10% need support the 90? You've worded it in such a way I don't really see what you're after
@@alexdraco9926meritocracy is unfair cuz most humans have an average iq or even lower. That's a fact. Statistically speaking the higher the iq the easier life gets. We protect mentally challenged people because we're aware of this huge difference. But what about the 90% of humans that have less iq points than the remaining 10%?
I’m pretty much live like a animal that I can’t understand human words

He will be suggesting that highly intelligent folk are privileged next...

This is too short. Half a story.
We recommend the Full Interview in the Descriptions.
Every year the percentage of the population that is too slow to engage in meaningful work grows. Eventually it will be only the top 10% of people capable to work.
Unless that 10% makes automation capable of replacing the lost workforce the scales will balance themselves via natural culling

The increased difficulty in life if someone isn’t very cognitively gifted
How he consistently struggles to land any stable work and how society is designed against jobs for lower IQ folk
@@Ismail-kv3ex Even in jobs which don't require higher education, if someone is less intelligent than the people they work with, they will find things more challenging. Hate to break it to people, but inorder to be useful to society you first have to be useful. And sadly life isn't fair to everyone. God doesn't get his way, why should you?
