Rin, I'm sorry to hear life has been so rough lately. I totally understand how it's hard to open up, talk about/deal with or even express such emotions, I'm the same way. I don't express and can't explain the tough feelings I have a lot of the time. It kind of just builds up over time, and I always recommend taking a break to take care of yourself. I've used art to vent some feelings before, and it's usually just lots of hard lines and rough scribbly drawings. It can help get frustration out. What I'm saying is...take all the time you need and do whatever feels best for you. I understand having a tough time, especially during these times. And I will always support you, you're one of my most favorite youtubers/artists. But I want you to be okay before anything else 💜 sorry this was so long

I loved this character sketch! I also love that you embraced the mistakes. It makes the character feel even more whimsical. Her leg DOES bend that way, because that's who she is and her finger is the same. I loved the whispies and eyes in the background. She is very dynamic, lots of color, lots of character. We all experience difficult times. Luckily, there are communities we can find comfort in. For the first month of the after my city shut down, I barely got out of bed. I watched a lot of your videos during that time. I appreciate how creative you are, how your characters are interesting and whimsical. I have chronic pain and everyday is like a roller coaster of emotions, experiences and frustration, however, this channel has always brought me a few minutes of time I can escape it all. I wish I could wave a wand and make things better for you and the others struggling with the grief life throws but I've yet to find the right wand for me, one day ...but I can tell you all that life gets better, it may take a while but one day you will wake up and everything will be sunshine and rainbows again, hold on tight to the good memories and the things that make you smile, know its OK to feel sad or cross. The best advice I have is not to bottle things up as they will consume you, talk to a friend, yell them to an empty room, call a help line, scrawl your feelings out onto a page, do anything but hide them and keep them to yourself. The saying a problem shared is a problem halved is really accurate, lifting a little of that burden you carry does wonders. I hope you all find the answers you need sooner than later but till then its ok, just know you have support if you want it or need it. Rin you are one of the most wonderful souls on this planet, you do so much for so many by sharing your art with us, I hope you can take comfort from all these messages and that life starts giving you a break. Thank you for every moment you've given me of distraction from my pain and problems, I just wish I could return the favour, you are one of the strongest, kindest and loveliest people on the planet, I hope you know how truly magical and awesome you are. Thank you for uploading a video even though you didn't need to. Thank you for being a staple in the art community and a source of joy for millions. Remember we are here for you and will understand if you want to take a break from filming. Never force yourself to pretend for us but if that's how you heal then so be it. We will always be back here if you decide to disappear for a while. I hope you feel better soon and thank you again for all that you do on good and bad days. Just don't push yourself, please.

I loved this character sketch! I also love that you embraced the mistakes. It makes the character feel even more whimsical. Her leg DOES bend that way, because that's who she is and her finger is the same. I loved the whispies and eyes in the background. She is very dynamic, lots of color, lots of character.
We all experience difficult times. Luckily, there are communities we can find comfort in. For the first month of the after my city shut down, I barely got out of bed. I watched a lot of your videos during that time. I appreciate how creative you are, how your characters are interesting and whimsical. I've also learned some color theory and been inspired to create more myself.

My kindergarten had peacocks living on campus, you could buy the feathers they shed in the office and we learned to wait in line for the peacocks to walk across the path with their chicks

Rin, (I hope its okay I call you Rin) I have watched your channel forever, and lately it has been one of the only places that I have found familiarity. With every thing thats going on in the world right now, and with my own personal crisis going on, your channel is something that I know I can always come back to. Your optimism is so inspiring and while I can't begin to imagine what your going through, I know you can get through it and come out of it better than before. I hope that you are doing everything you can to take care of yourself. Please take all the time you need for yourself and remember that you have so many people that love you. Keep on being the ray of sunshine that you are.

Rin, I love your art and you are a huge inspiration to me. I know you don't want prying into your personal life, but I do want to say that it's okay to not want to be strong all the time. It's okay to feel like the world is crashing down around you. You'll be able to push through it. It won't be easy. If you're anything like me you're probably going to cry a lot, and that's okay too. We believe in you.

Just read your description. I'm so sorry to hear you have had a bad few months. I agree completely with the turning off everything and focusing on what's around you and BREATHING through it. You have an amazing way of staying positive and that always shines through on your videos, I only hope you can feel that way soon in real life. Keep getting better and sending love from Down Under! X

I have chronic pain and everyday is like a roller coaster of emotions, experiences and frustration, however, this channel has always brought me a few minutes of time I can escape it all. I wish I could wave a wand and make things better for you and the others struggling with the grief life throws but I've yet to find the right wand for me, one day ...but I can tell you all that life gets better, it may take a while but one day you will wake up and everything will be sunshine and rainbows again, hold on tight to the good memories and the things that make you smile, know its OK to feel sad or cross. The best advice I have is not to bottle things up as they will consume you, talk to a friend, yell them to an empty room, call a help line, scrawl your feelings out onto a page, do anything but hide them and keep them to yourself. The saying a problem shared is a problem halved is really accurate, lifting a little of that burden you carry does wonders.
I hope you all find the answers you need sooner than later but till then its ok, just know you have support if you want it or need it.
Rin you are one of the most wonderful souls on this planet, you do so much for so many by sharing your art with us, I hope you can take comfort from all these messages and that life starts giving you a break. Thank you for every moment you've given me of distraction from my pain and problems, I just wish I could return the favour, you are one of the strongest, kindest and loveliest people on the planet, I hope you know how truly magical and awesome you are.

Hi Rin. I look forward to your videos and was worried and wondering if I missed one. I hope you feel better soon though I can imagine how hard it is. Sometimes even positive encouragement can feel like an empty platitude. I have found like you that drawing helps as a distraction from feelings of denial, anger and sadness. I go outside to garden as a way to deal with these often overwhelming feelings. All of this is to say you are loved and understood. From a Caribbean fan with love🤗
