Here is my new addition to my gs charge guide. Its general gs guide on how to deal with Rahjan. Have fun watching, hope you all will enjoy it.
Armor - Full Akantor [Recommended armor no. 1 which is stated inside the video]

***I made some calculation error and LVL2 is actually better than 2 HITS. I calculated again with Siegmund and there is a difference of 14HP. Oh my~ crap.....lol. hopefully it does not bother you.

naji I always watch your GS vids and take them as a challenge. You are really the best GS user ever, because you can use GS that great, and you can even explain how to useit properly !! I always try do to as you do in your vids, so after watching Rahjan guide, i took my TDJ and went to arena slay them. And i did it ! Thank you alot, now i know that GSing Rahjan is so fun !

For rajang to fall into pitfall trap it has to be in a rage mode. It is the same concept as naruga kuruga but I don't know if you've heard of it before.
and btw you can pitfall trap him when hes only in rage mode so i would suggest you to flash him when his get angry then got to the bottom left corner and search and if you are lucky you will get a sply pitfall trap then you place it some were and wait until the flash go then make him go into the pitfall :)
perfect guide! but i would also reccomend the unsheating ability, allowing you to land a 3lvl charge with 125% damage while unsheating... to me is a must
I know i'm 14 fucking years later, but you could use an Atk up skill and use a weapon with high affinity instead, like the Narga ones. Fuck if you're not dead you probably have wife and children by now, or husband and children, i guess... this is weird
yea great vid, iv just started to pick up GS again got kinda side tracked by the newer weapon classes, but GS are so much more fun than in mhf1 :D

I find using short and shield agood alternative when fighting Rajang too. Since Rajang move a lot more than the other monsters, getting a lot of nimble hits with a good SnS can accumulate. Compared to this video, this guy took down rajang in less than 10mins. It took me at least 20mins to get a chief rajang with Hi Frost Edge with 420 ice element.
I guess its just preference, but I feel comfortable with SnS when fighting Rajang lol. I'll try this next time, thanks for the guide.

You can use GS charge on White Fatalis face when he is standing. I've done it plenty of times. Then I decided to look at more vids. The people I saw basically did what I did. I just play safer, so I charge less.
Look on my favorites for sort of an example.

after watching the vid and coming across to the spin move, it's always better to stay in the right part of the rajang. since he comes off to spin and attack so much using its left side.
either at the old granny in the village its the last quest she offers or much later in the guild at g rank quests

you forgot to mention how crucial time is when charging when he does a full kameha in rage mode.
i fail at it all the time. you have to be close and do it quick or you miss it and risk getting injured. most of the time i get only a lv2 charge
Hey, i have 2 questions.
First is, are there any tips more you can do when using an long sword.
And i would like to start fighting with a gs for some monsters.
Do oyu have any basic tips tricks and can you recomand an weapon?
first you have to kill every boss atleast twice, except for lao shun, akantor, rajang, and shen. Then when your done that, youll unlock the shen quest for the elder. When you beat that, youll get duel rajang. Good luck =)

try HR5 Khezu, although any HR5 and up wyvern will give them from either carves or rewards
According to the MHF2 FAQ on gamefaqs the tip is removable, not sure about the other part though.

Thanks, now i can kill hin with any weapon. Before i can only kill one. Now, I got 54 Rajang Kills. :)
How did you jewel the Akantor armour with the following skills?
1. Sharpness +1(10 artisan)
2. Earplug(10 hear protection)
3. Quake resistance(10 quake resistance)
4. Reckless Abandon +2(15 expert)
I could get all the skills except for quake resistance.

lol yeah i asked for A LOT of help back in the day but i finally made it to akantor and no what sucks? my data got erased 2 days ago before i was about to take him on! it sucks i no so i just got a gamesave bc i didnt want to start all over but i may just do it bc i feel somewhat guilty inside knowing its not my character....but yeah great vid :)

nice, but oi man i tried the akantor gear out and you can get RA+2,quake resist,sharpness +1 but not earplugs... >:(
How come when rajang roar that time it doesn't knock you off? I got knocked off even with highgrade earplug.
For MHP2nd G though, the upgrade of Lacerator blade pwns all :)

any rajang will give golden pelts. i recommend the download one so it only stays in one area
So, you can't have the same armor skills while wearing Akantor armor in MHFU.
Since, the armor is slightly different.
i got full monodevil almost just ioprey body (im making it monodevil too because it sucks XD) and rajang 1hits me with some attacks :(
OK yeah its a good guide but u said was true about pitfalls but shock traps atleast 1 charge can do it ...
Heya man, Rajang is in my opinion one of the must unpredictable and frustrating monsters in the game but i can solo kill a G rank 'Final Invitiation' opening Rajang in 7 mins with Ukanlos bow. The larger of the pair usually takes about twenty minutes. Their horns are a bitch to break though! And i need Rajang X! Anyway, Rajang with a bow is a joke. RUclips it, there are loads of vids with people killing SS Rajang (the turbo one) sub 8 mins with a bow and heroics :)

Thunder god? Never heard of it before. If you do the final invitation how is the rajang not going into the pitfall trap when he's rage? And he can't destroy your trap.

TIP: you should really finish fatalis in mhf2 before you go mhp2g cuz in mhp2g adrenaline+2 and heroics do not stack and the boost are too low for bows....

For me just stick to greatswords you'll be trained to fight the melee way, and believe me range weapons are not that much of a use except for big monsters

Personally, Rajang leaves many openings for charges. You just have to know when to avoid him, or else you're screwed. I've been using a GS on him lately just to break his horns.
It's really fun, until you play stupid.
