  • There are many differences between rotational grazing and rational voisin grazing:
    In rational voisin herding:
The resting time of the paddocks, that is, without animals, is much longer, since I have to respect the optimal resting point (POR) to be able to enter the paddock to eat it.
The residence time within each paddock cannot exceed 3 days.
In order to comply with the first two points, I need more paddocks than in rotational grazing.
Since I have to eat at an exact point, BY, I need to find the paddock that meets that condition, so I don't have to follow an order by number or clockwise, etc. ART OF KNOWING JUMP.
There are other differences, such as making a pruning and review batch, but it is also done in other pastoral systems, so we do not add it to our list of exclusive differences.
On the other hand, it is important to know that the majority of producers who are dedicated to PRV seek more agroecological production systems, because they take actions based on the soil, plant, and animal.
