I've been searching for this guitar tone for years now and still can't get it. That cocked wah sort of "bowwww" and movement in the guitars is so utterly satisfying.
i know its old you may have found it already, but try to play with an EQ before the amp, and scoop some 1k and add some 2k, something like that should do it
you can still get movie maker if you look up windows essentials 2012 if you look up how to get movie maker on win 10 you can find a person on the microsoft website telling you where to go
It didn't make it to the album because it has a riff that is used in the album already so I think he probably just didn't want to repeat too much even though he brings back that cleaner sounding melodic picking part that he plays earlier in the album but break down and deconstructs kind of later in the album. 1:18 was where the part is. Listen to the album and then the part and you'll see what I mean.
