Ohio State is the biggest threat to Georgia, and it's not even close. Kalen DeBoer was badly outcoached by Jim Harbaugh, Jonathan Smith, Jake Dickert, and Troy Taylor. He just happened to win three of those games because his team was much more talented than the other team. Alabama will have its worst season since the Mike Shula years.

I'm tired of Alabama and idc for College Football it overrated and annoying plus Alabama not goiung anywhere this year anyway SAS stupid as usual.
The College Football Playoff's expansion has further isolated "Group of Five" teams. Conferences like the Big 12 and ACC that have become noticeably weaker in recent years don't even stand a chance. You're telling me that a school like Toledo can realistically run the table and beat teams like Georgia, Oregon, and Ohio State in three consecutive games? The BCS was the best chance any of these lesser schools had. They had a better shot when they had to stay undefeated with a strong non-conference schedule and hope everybody else lost.

And what is Kalen Deboer's record against ANY SEC opponent in his ENTIRE CAREER? 0-0... He's never faced the level of competition that the SEC has to offer. He went from an AllStar offense, to a team that's primarily a defensive minded team. What's his focus with Alabama. Offense, just like it was at Washington. So Bama's defense is going to slip this year. You're going to see Bama get in some shootouts. But when they play Georgia, Georgia's defense is going to be a struggle for him, and Georgia is going to walk away likely by at least one TD, if not by 2. ESPN's matchup has Georgia winning 59/100 contests against Alabama this year. Texas is going to be Georgia's biggest test this year.

My problem with this take is we're not sure how the new coach will fare at Bama. Without knowing that, I can't definitively say that Bama will be the same. Coach Prestige matters in college greatly. If you have a big-time coach in college, you're more likely to be able to get high-caliber prospects. Guys like Saban and Pete Carroll back in the day proved that. Alabama is INC right now until we see how this coach performs
