Weren't those coyotes, The Original Winnipeg Jets in The World Hockey Association? didn't they win a Avco Cup as The World Hockey Association Champion? Didn't they have The Golden Jet Bobby Hull back then? I agree that they did not do much of anything in Arizona except ruin the State of Arizona for Ice Hockey.
Coyotes would be a sure thing if they didn’t move and change ownership, but they actually have a great prospect pool and some pretty good young dynamic players
Pittsburgh Pirates should be on the list. No championship since 1979, a handful of playoff appearances in the past 30 years, bottom 5 pay-roll in baseball, owner doesn't care if they win or not
The one thing that keeps them off of this list is the stadium is often mentioned as the best fan experience in baseball and maybe even in all of sports. For all their shortcomings, going to a Pirates game is very affordable and enjoyable. They also have one of the few must-see players in Paul Skenes. A bottom-10 franchise, probably... not bottom-5.
The Mariners have never even made it to the world series...... Top 10 in revenue and bottom third in payroll but the fans still show up because they make them forget with giveaways and promotions and having a sick ballpark.
Honestly I don't think the pirates are top 5 in their own sport. Yes they're bad but there are just teams that are worse than them. But I ask do you really believe the pirates are worse than the Marlins, White Sox, A's, Rockies and Angels? Because I don't.
Clippers have been a consistent playoff team for 10+ yrs now that's not the case with these other franchises all because you don't win a championship doesn't make you a bad franchise when you're always putting a competitive product on the court.

Well their last playoff relevancy was from 2013-2015 but since then obviously very disappointing.
