You can definitely paint. The cake is great. Sorry for your loss. Halfway through you finishing the bunny's face I just started streaming tears as I lost my first bun of 11 years less than 4 months ago. A shaggy grey harlequin lop. So fluffy! The only thing I'd add to that bunny cake would be use some fresh basil as the flower leaves for a punch of fresh green and because bunnies loooove basil. Parsley would also work in a more wildflower kind of way. Your work is adorable and I can't wait to go see more videos.
That bunny is adorable! Well done! So much detail. It really looked realistic. ❤ I have a buttercream basket of flowers cake up on my channel this week.
Paints the perfect rabbit and says she not good at painting, honestly this is amazing! Being someone who draws for fun I know how hard it is to be confident in your skills. You should be super proud of this!!!
Thank you!!😊 I'm always worried about giving off like a compliment seeking vibe when I say that I'm not inclined towards something but the end result is still good. I'm really just hoping to show people that painting doesn't come naturally for me (same with decorating in buttercream, or making macarons etc) but with a lot of practice and patience I improved and they can too😊 I know when I first started I felt like a lot of skills I have now were impossible, so I don't want anyone to think the same way since it's not true! I'm so happy with how the bunny turned out and it's great to see how far I've come from the stick figures I was making before😂😂
I just read your "about" page and am so wow'd by you. We seem so similar because we're both self-taught via RUclips videos but you grew to mastery level in three years and it's taken me 8 just to get to half-decent. You are amazing and by far my favorite cake decorating RUclips channel. Thanks for "giving back"!
Aww thank you very much, that is so sweet of you to say. I was in the very fortunate position of being able to learn full time so please don't feel down on yourself. I'm also quite obsessive so for the most part I've lived and breathed cakes lol. Thank you so much for the support, I sincerely appreciate it. PS I love your account name!!
I started out from home and then over time had a separate cake space where I did it full time, but now I have mainly transitioned to online tutorials:)
woow..!!! What a lovely cake...!!! Good luck dear sis..!!! I have a question. Which colours do you use to paint..?? Are they edible?? Actually I don't know that..
Hi there! I so very much admire your talents. Great job! Beautifully done. May I ask about how much a hand painted. Are retails for in your area? Thank you so much for your help.
Hi, thank you for the technique you share 😊 anyway, after you attach the bunny on the cake, can the cake go to fridge? Bcs the fondant would get sticky , but if dont then the buttercream will melt :( any suggestions??
I am new here.. Do we paint with regular painting brushes?? Or are they special ones for food?? And should we eat this fondant after or it's only for decoration
Hi hunny 🐰! How sweet is This.. And a loving memory 💜. You are a great artist/painter, although you claim not to be. She's precious! I have a collection of ceramic bunnies. I had a real one once but, stubborn as all get out and just liked to poop. High maintenance! Oh well, I love them anyway! 😉🤗 Nice work!
Some does end up sticking lol! Edible gold can be super frustrating at times. Usually it prefers to stick to the buttercream versus my finger but if you really struggle with it a dedicated pair of tweezers to apply it helps a lot!
You did a great job on the bunny. I was surprised to hear you say you are not an artist. Very nice job.
That bunny is darling.

@@TheLovelyBaker You're the first person to tell me they like my channel name! Thank you! Do you work full time making cakes out of your kitchen?
I started out from home and then over time had a separate cake space where I did it full time, but now I have mainly transitioned to online tutorials:)
Well you came back and better than ever

Cute cake huehue Looks like real 💗

You’re definitely not a painter Charity. A painter decorates the walls in your house 😂 What you are is an artist, this bunny cake is incredible!😍
Aww thank you 😭😭❤️
Awesomely awesome
Can you please make more videos on painting
That’s a beautiful cake! I love it! 😍😍😍😍
Beautiful!
You are so talented!!
Too kind! 😊😊

Lindo😘😘😘
Perfect beautiful 👏👏👏👏👏❤
Divino 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
what branch of fondant do you use?
Do you let the fondant dry out before you paint the bunny?
Yes I did:)
Beautiful like always :)
Thanks girl 😘😘😘🐰
Awesome job! So sorry about your bunny:(
Excuse me i not good at English i don't understand too much what are you saying but i have questions what kind of colors do you use?..
Disculpa ese tipo de pinceles donde los consigues?
I truly want that bunny 😞😭
🤗zoo lief 😍
Are you using gel or edible powder color?
I use food coloring gel mixed with a little bit of food grade alcohol but you can also use clear extracts like vanilla or lemon etc😊
@@TheLovelyBaker thanx to reply
Also how do you make sure the edible gold doesn't stick to you hands when you are putting them on
Some does end up sticking lol! Edible gold can be super frustrating at times. Usually it prefers to stick to the buttercream versus my finger but if you really struggle with it a dedicated pair of tweezers to apply it helps a lot!
Have u tried other solutions than alcohol?
yes you can use clear lemon extract or really any clear extract
How long for the bunny to dry?
I left mine overnight to dry completely
Each layer of this cake is a 2 pound 6" cake? Right?
Hafsa Baloch it looks like a 3’🤔
@@rensitosmommy11 She said its a 6" inch cake
What is the tool called that you used to transfer the bunny outlines on the fondant ?
