That's the thing with certain artists, they don't just sing for the sake of singing. You can feel the emotion behind the voice, the true, raw and honest emotion. Artists like Chester Bennington and Ronnie Radke do this extremely well and that's why they're my top 2.
💯. It's an entire experience. They don't (didn't) make music unless they had a message. And the vulnerability of exposing themselves in the rawest form.
Ronnie is classically trained man not just for instruments but with his voice as well man can hit anything from the highest falsetto down to the deepest growl he's an amazing artist and just a fantastic singer
Ronnie's one of the best I've seen at portraying emotion in his voice. This version gets me because my mom was going through the final weeks from ALS, so it's tough listening to this but I love it so much
I've seen many a comment on this song that they've been rocking out hard to this song since high school, but that it's like the first time they've stopped and really heard the lyrics.
Hey Jared, great reaction 👍❤ Saw how the line "It all started when I lost my mother" hit you and wanna give you a big hug 🫂❤🫂❤🫂❤ I'm just watching some of your older reactions that I have missed so far. And that was a really good idea. Always brilliant 😀.
This is the adult version of the song that makes you really hear the lyrics!💔Its all good you do what you need to do.... I still feel the emotions of this song sooo much. It is a beautiful rendition. I lost my mom in 2022 still struggling....Great reaction!!🖤
Thanks! I’ve enjoyed watching your reactions! Check out the Falling in Reverse trilogy, “Losing my Mind”, “Losing my Life” and “Drugs” when you can. They include some of Ronnie’s earlier rap/metal chops.
This reimagined version is one of my first FIR songs I listened to and was blown away. Within the last couple years I’ve grown to love 99% of their catalog. This is in my opinion one of the best, maybe the best rock band right now. Everything I’ve heard from them is fire!!! You really can’t go wrong with them!!! Enjoy!!!
12:10 - You're probably the only reactor I've seen get the metaphor with the crumbling buildings. Which is why you're probably my favorite reactor on YT. You understand music the way I do, but your knowledge on music and its history is what set you apart from the others. This song was big when I was in high school, I think it would have been my junior or senior year, and I remember screaming it at the top of my lungs in my car too, lol. I don't think I ever really HEARD this song until I heard it this way. It just hit so much differently. There's an amazing video of Jacoby explaining why he wrote this song and the story behind it - it's totally worth the watch. There's also a short video of Ronnie showing Jacoby this song for the first time, it was a really cool moment, also worth watching lol.
Really Artists portray their every emotion in their music/ videos! I really think that their music is their outlet to show their pain ! Love your reaction bro. Thanks, truly I appreciate your input Brother!!!
Ronnie is so incredibly talented! You should do "The Drug In Me Is You", and "The Drug In Me Is Reimagined" in one reaction video, and "I'm Not A Vampire" and "I'm Not A Vampire Revamped" in one video. The first songs are from their first album after Ronnie was released from prison, so it is vastly different from where the band is now. I'm totally down for your deep dive into Falling In Reverse.
love your reactions to FIR and Ronnie... authentic and great to see you naturally in your feels. keep going.... popular monster, zombified, Im not a vampire revamped...The Trilogy... compare ot his older stuff..
Same here man, every time I hear this song, whether it's the original or this, brings back so many memories and feelings. This is one of those songs that can be hard to listen to sometimes though. You're the first person i've seen notice the tear streaks, I actually screen captured that image and i'm using it as the background on my PC.
Glad you found FIR and Ronnie .. Great reaction..love your authenticity.. hey keep going with the FIR rabbit hole... check out Prequel, I'm not a Vampire revamped, Popular monster, Drugs, Watch the world burn.. in fact.. go into Epitaph record and watch the whole Popular monster record released August.
To me, this is the adult version of this song I never knew I needed. Papa Roach encapsulated the angsty teen/young adult feelings of us 90s/GenX teens perfectly. Now that we are all full blown adults, this version hits in a different way. It's a transition much like a young adult has emotionally to an adult. I love both versions. They both spoke to me in equally amazing ways at times in my life where the impact was appreciated. Just my take. I dont comment much, I lurk mostly. But I wanted to take the opportunity to say I really appreciate your thoughts on so many songs. Keep it up man, you're one of my favorites! Truly appreciate it! Sending you blessings from Alabama! PS - if you like symphonic metal type music, have you ever listened to Nightwish? They have a huge catalog to dive through (formed in 96 and just put out their newest album in Sept of this year, I would NOT start w their newest and work back though). If you're up for it, I would suggest starting with their song Storytime live from Wacken 2013. Then go from there. They have sooo many different kinds of songs, no 2 are really the same. Poetic, deep lyrics and amazing composition. Just a thought! If you decide to listen to them, I hope you like/enjoy what you hear! They are one of my favorites - Nightwish and Tool have my top spots. I'm down for Tool reactions too if you're not already familiar - The audio video for The Pot is the best song to begin with for Tool. Blessings to you, friend!
13:53 - Most likely lol. Especially with their newer stuff. You've heard most of the Popular Monster album, but there were like 3 or 4 songs that didn't get videos worth listening to as well. There are two more reimagined songs that Ronnie did from two of his older songs - those are fun to listen to back to back. "The drug in me is you/The drug in me is you (reimagined)" and "I'm not a vampire/I'm not a vampire (reimagined) There is also a video thats like 3m 30s of Ronnie Roasting himself over the original version of "the drug in me is you" lol - its hilarious
As for what's next, I really like what some are doing with going through the Popular Monster album. Only a few don't have videos but are still bangers you should react to. Song order is Prequel, Popular Monster, All My Life, Ronald, Voices In My Head, Bad Guy, Watch The World Burn, Trigger Warning, Zombified, No Fear, and Last Resort. And Watch The World Burn live by Caliber TV. Also, the Trilogy: Losing My Mind, Losing My Life, and Drugs which were the last singles leading up to Popular Monster. Obviously, there's way more to go through but that should keep you busy for a while. 😀
Here for any and all Falling in Reverse! I felt your emotions in your reaction and appreciate how much you seem to be enjoying this rabbit hole. FIR has some absolute bangers, some heavy emotional hitters, and some fun ones. You tell us what you're in the mood for and we'll supply the recommendations.
You have to do the Drug In Me original and Reimagined. Two for one. The first is very 2010’s emo-punk-pop. The second will literally make me cry. Gets you in the feels.
Jacoby and Ronnie were on tour together- Jacoby was looking for an anniversary cover of this song- there is a RUclips with Ronnie showing him his version- he loved it.
Jared knowing how you are with like rap and hip hop I'm assuming you're a fan of Gangsta's Paradise Falling in Reverse has a version of Gangsta's Paradise that Coolio put his stamp on I'd love to see you react to it
Oooooohh been waiting 👏👏 Post-watch edit: 😂 told ya! 🤯😭🤪 Yes, they are all amazeballs, soul altering experiences for those open to see. Keep going! Give Popular Monster a listen.
Ronnie can do it all. Lol I knew you would like these guys. There is a video of him showing Jacolby Shaddix lead singer for Papa Roach a unmastered version of this. You should have seen Jacobly's reaction to this. Its really good.
So for the most part of going out and buying like cars and houses and clothes and jewelry Ronnie likes to put his money from Falling in Reverse prophets back into his music and back into his music video to make better and better for the fans I mean pretty much the entire popular Monster album I believe was recorded at Universal Studios
Seen this 100 times and still get the goosebumps 😊
That's the thing with certain artists, they don't just sing for the sake of singing. You can feel the emotion behind the voice, the true, raw and honest emotion. Artists like Chester Bennington and Ronnie Radke do this extremely well and that's why they're my top 2.

Now this is how you do a reimagined version of an already great song. Make it completly different and make the lyrics work with the sound of the song.
I'm like you ...blown away by all the FIR videos I see. My ears, my eyes, my heart, and my emotions are all assaulted.
Ronnie is classically trained man not just for instruments but with his voice as well man can hit anything from the highest falsetto down to the deepest growl he's an amazing artist and just a fantastic singer

Spoiler alert: yes, you probably will be blown away every time. Just enjoy the ride.
I've seen many a comment on this song that they've been rocking out hard to this song since high school, but that it's like the first time they've stopped and really heard the lyrics.
Definitely on your own time, go watch Jacoby’s reaction to this with Ronnie. It’s a really cool perspective
Me too, bro. 🫂

Thanks for another great reaction!

Ronnie never knew his mother cuz she abandoned him
