It's a disappointment that this guitar doesn't have the 22nd fret. Otherwise though, looks great, and sounds great. I often wonder though, with the amount of gear that you have, would it sound as good in my much more humble setup.
What you hear is pretty minimal gear…it’s really just a guitar through a tuner into an amp…and instead of a real speaker I use load box & cabinet simulation but other than that…that’s all you hear on the guitar! I don’t EQ the guitar at all…no compression just what comes out of the load box/cab sim and straight into the interface and Logic in the Mac! There is an amp switcher in there too but that doesn’t change the sound it just makes it easier for me to switch between the different amps when I do sessions and for different videos
@@TSFAHTPS I have the 2020 version of the Squier offset Telecaster, and it does have a 22nd fret, which seems to be uncommon with Squier guitars. This guitar would match it nicely.
Great review. Thanks and subscribed!
@@richarde3378 thank you very much
You can put the pickups in/out of phase and in series as well.
that is one of the most important things about this guitar!!! how did he manage to miss that !!!
Meanwhile, all the coolest Fender guitars are coming from Squier
the only thing that I might have reservations about is the bound neck with the block inlays... it might feel weird... randomly it's very un-tele
Great run through, thanks!
@@erikberg8352 thank you!
I like this a lot. I wonder how long it’ll be before we see companies doing after market pick guards for them.
@@miniaturefun-guy this would look great with an anodised guard
Warmoth has offered bodies and pickguards in this configuration for years.
@@Robstafarian import taxes and crappy exchange rates have ruled warmoth out for me at the moment.
Those pickups make a fantastic combo- but BEST neck pickup? Sorry, that’s got to be a DeArmond Dynasonic.

Thrash Metal, thru to Clean Blues, please! ❤😊
Did you find the push pull pot yet? :)
@@zero318 yep
Do you know what pots are there? 250k ? 500k?
@@mrakk no idea sorry…we only had the guitar for a short time so I can’t even check for you - sorry
JAZZCASTER
@@oregbeer that would have been easier…but it’s the Offset Telecaster
I think there was a copyright issue with Jazzcaster, ironically. Telemaster would be cool too.
Jagcaster! Taguar (Or Targa would have a good kick to it)!
