They should have tried to incorporate sub-terra as part of the experience. During sub-terra, the events "below" disturb the big creature, and then the coaster is meant to be efforts to re-sedate the creature or keep it pinned down
Id love it if they themed every ride in the area after the Alien. Paint Galactica black. Maybe spinkle some stars and galaxies on it. Bring back (optional) VR to chase the creature through space, when it crash lands on earth. In Sub Terra we could see some story of how the massive 'Blade' and 'Ripsaw' were used to try to cut through the aliens thick armour. Ripsaw could have a tenticle under it, which sprays a red 'blood like' water (non dangerous or damaging)
I went today, it was absolutely dead. Even Nemesis was practically walk on. The queue was 10 minutes max and the shop had no queue. Th13teen was shut 4 most of the day though. I think the longest queue all day was Galactica surprisingly at 40 minutes. But I have a RAP so that didn't matter
I went to Alton Towers today (Monday) 3rd day of opening with only 4000 guests booked into the park. Nemesis Reborn was 5-10 mins max wait. Walk on even (went on it 3 times) Edit: Counterpoint. Thirteen was closed shortly after park opening, Rita closed for the 2nd half of the day and so did Spinball 🙄
i dont think that new building will be an arcade. it just feels like too much effort to be just that. i mean if we get some custom built nemesis arcade games i wont argue with that. they would be missing out if they dont put grabber machine exclusive nemesis merch somewhere.. they would be filthy rich.
