Sign me up as a test subject. I had a serious TBI 4 years ago and now suffering a concussion that doesn’t seem to be getting better. So in all seriousness, I would love to open myself up to such amazing research.
You all can get better, ask God for help and try different forms of therapy on yourselves. I had a TBI and a concussion on top of that. I was slow in my thoughts and speech but over time I have gotten a lot better. Don't ever give up, keep moving forward.
The challenge and therefore the reality of a TBI is that if it IS moderate/severe you will never fully recover. Yes, you can improve by way of rerouting through "neuroplaciicty"sp but you will never fully recover. You cant grow a new foot or a new arm but you learn ways of compensation. As a side note, the affects are severe fatigue....but I will take that trade off as my mind is functioning again....albeit at a much slower speed. Hopefully that is not a downer for folks but as they preach you must accept it to improve your situation. It's a dark and lonely road.....and those lucky enough to know.......know
My friend was in a car accident on the 23rd he had bleeding in three spots on his brain. How do we find doctors who are willing to try new medicine like this to help my dear friend!?
Not heard of that brother im supposed to fast every year only prob is if i was to do a full fast id end up going on a mad one 🤣not heard of intermittent for tbi ?
My son was 6 minutes without oxygen June of 2017 he's in a nursing home anoxic brain injury I need all the help I can get for him 7 years in the nursing home lying on his back bedridden
My mother who suffered the same was administered amantadine (Symmetrel) and zolpidem (Ambien) after about a month of unresponsiveness. Within hours she opened and moved her eyes, and can now move her mouth and head, but still cannot speak. Most doctors will _not_ object to trying these out for patients suffering from disorders of consciousness resulting from prolonged anoxic/hypoxic conditions so don't be shy to ask your physician.
Thank you for this comment my dad experienced an anoxic brain injury after suffering cardiac arrest on 11/17/23.He regained consciousness and is moving his arms, and limbs. He says words and talks sometimes. He was also keeping his eyes open but as of recently he has been slightly opening them and quickly closing them tightly. And he is always sleeping.I have looked into him getting on Ambien but with him already being in the hospital and sleeping the doctors are against it.I will also look into the other medication you mentioned and hopefully my dad will recover soon.I'm also looking into hyperbaric oxygen treatment I saw that it helps also.
I was recently involved in 2 rear end vehicle accidents, with a month of each other and have been diagnosed with a TBI when I struck my head on the interior of my vehicle. Is there a way for me to find out more information on your trials for this breakthrough treatment. Is there someone that I can speak with or a direct link that can be provided? Thank you.
yeah I'd like to know this too. My son was in an accident a week ago. We are still in the hospital. It's becoming clear that we, his parents, have to advocate, research, ask questions, and figure things out on our own to help him, but we don't even know what to ask. I would never know what drugs or treatments to ask about. So I'd like to know what other trials are happening now in 2024? How do I find out more? This is overwhelming.
My son has a brain injury at the age of 16. He flew in the air 30 feet in a dirt bike accident. I wanted to see if you have any more clinical studies he can be in?
Try to join the trail treatment with stemcels for TBI (Texas University/Hope Bio sciences). There may be few spots left if he meets the inclusion criteria). I hope you find cure!
My doctor thinks I have CTE from severe, long-term past physical abuse. Would treatments like this or similar alternatives show any promise for treating that potentially, as well?
I would look Into cranial sacral therpay where the nervous system gets rewired so trauma can actually heal. I do highly recommend though you make sure other areas of health do get treated a bit prior such as the gut because it takes energy to move and heal energy. Otherwise your’re putting your body into a harmful situation doing this treatment.
My brother having hypoxic brain injury before 4 month, till 1 month he was in vegetative state. Now he track through eyes, listen, mouth opening and move his head. Please suggest me.. What next.. Is any intervention help us to come out.😢
My son suffered a TBI called H.I.E secondary to medical negligence. As a result he now has spastic cerebral palsy & EPILEPSY & ASD. Do you think medication similar to this will be available in the future?
Any idea how this could compare to simple administration of steroid? Are you feeling that the effect is greater than just the effective increase in cortico steroid from the ACTH?

Yeah, it seems like regenerative medicine would be the way to go. I just watched Dr. Jocelyne Bloch's presentation on healing the brain and I'm wondering why there haven't been any updates on this.
@@jaywill4ever slow process dude, we have nothing now that can do any healing, we entirely rely on a natural process that clearly does not heal well alone depending on the injury. In other words, you hit mice on the head with a hammer to experiment on them, when at the same time their are OVER 100,000 veterans out their with TBI's that you could use as live subjects and help them, instead of causing more damage on animals that are perfectly HEALTHY!
Yeah but what if the experiment backfires or something and they get some horrendous side effects? Then the veterans are a lot worse off. You can't just try random shit and hope it works on people. There is a process in medical-science that must be adhered to.
That’s why people say say your health is your wealth so if my tBI was cured I’d be happier in the future
