I love your Medieval Dynasty videos, you have a really easy to listen to voice as well. I'm so over the videos where people are practically shouting and overexaggerating their voices. Please continue this series, I've watched them all :)
Thank you. I don't like the artificial enthusiasm either but it must work in making those channels successful, as it is common enough and even recommended. I just can't do it. My enthusiasm will be real and measured. I'll be posting more MD content soon. Thanks for the encouragement!
Nice build, definitely going to poach an idea or two from what I saw. I imagine stuff like decorating is something that one could work on forever, adding tweaks here and there, changing this or that in perpetuity. I can't imagine dealing with so many villagers, but it's early days for me I'm in year one. Still learning basics & exploring, can't wait to see where it goes.
I really enjoyed your tour thru the village. It was really well done and your village is looking really good (despite the lack of decorations 🤫 ). It's obvious that youve put alot of thought and creativity into the layout of everything so far. Also, I have to agree with Victoria, the way that you talk and present the video feels more like I'm in the room with you, having a real conversation about ypir village. I dont feel as if I'm at home watching a youtuber. It's nice. And the audio was great this time around, no worries there.
Awesome villlage dude well done had fun following along on the tour as you explained it all! As someone who built in that same location its so cool to see what different layouts people come up with! Cant wait to see when you finish it with all the decorations!
Thank you. I kinda sorta made one in the video: ruclips.net/video/mqfOkJXVDMQ/видео.html . It is only aerial views but I may be able to go back and put something else together in the future. I only have backup saves every few years.
Not as wonderful as you! I was just getting ready to tag you to let you know I posted one. Now I just need 3 uninterrupted weeks to decorate. That is where COOP mode would interest me.
What do you think about my voice. I was having issues and ended up removing all noise suppression and stuff. So now you can hear typing more, and my cat, but I feel like it is better. Let me know what you think.
@@sgtsylver decorating is certainly one of my favorite things to do now that my village is all built and running efficiently, no matter how tedious placing items individually is it’s so worth it. I like your voice! And I thought the part where you paused for your cat was really sweet! I was showing your content to a friend of mine commenting on how I like your voice better than a lot of RUclipsrs because they put on this “radio voice” with overly exaggerated cadence and it’s annoying, where as I can tell your voice is genuine and any pauses in your videos are natural. I did notice in your Banished episode that the mic seemed a little scratchy but that was still less irritating than listening to the RUclipsr Chills voice lol
Your village is absolutely beautiful!!! I just started playing and needed ideas because I feel like I'm lacking in creativity with so many options and it feels a bit daunting and overwhelming. But you have given me great ideas! One of the things that have been bothering me is path placing. How do you get your paths so flawless and natural looking?? Mine are patchy and crooked. Also any ideas on what to start with to make everything flow naturally? My vision is rustic but orderly, like yours. I feel myself placing down a few houses and buildings and I just get stuck in my head that it doesn't look perfect LOL! Anyways, this was quite inspiring! Keep up the good work!! :)
I use the compass orientation to keep paths as straight as I can. So most of my structures are aligned to a compass direction and my paths similarly aligned. Your village/town/city may go through many changes, placing buildings where you want them. I've rebuilt at least half of my town making changes. Thank you for the support!
You could put down a table in that pocket where you want a cart and add a few wooden wheels leaning up against it and kinda make it look like a cart. A cart that became a table instead.
Love this, but way too formal idea to me, so I decide more junk idea like placing my village in mountain area and bulid the house from top of the hill to the river below the hill, it's nice, just try it.
Great looking town, however it feels very empty either of people or decoration. Is there much in the game to decorate it with, barrels, (carts you mentioned), hay stacks, etc. I bought the game ages ago, but then forgot about it ;(. Hoping to pick it up when they implement co-op.
Decorations are there, barrels, crates and other items. No carts... yet. Decorating is the most tedious aspect of the game for me. Hoping to get more done in that regard soon. Thanks for participating. I really appreciate hearing from others.
@@sgtsylver Ahh Hope you do another quick tour when you have the decoration in place. would love to see what's available in the game now. I just watched a map tour by "Rose", very impressive - really shows potential.
I wish they would let us use our shovel to dig flat spaces for foundations, and our pickaxes to remove the "rock" on the ground. So much of the map is un-build-able. Its a shame how many gorgeous spots won't allow settlement. Big sad.
i make like 8 building and nothing i do will let me increase that amount of buildings i hate so i get stopped even with unlimited buildings turned on in the custom menu it limits me
Building limit increases with Dynasty Reputation. You need to do quests and help people on the map with exclamation points (!) on them. That should help.
Supposedly they are bringing it back. But they are charging subscription money to be a beta tester, $20 a month. lifeisfeudalmmo.com/ Which I find to be a bit insulting since everyone is saying it is the same game as before with no updates. The game and concept were great but the MMO execution was awful. Battles were a mess. However, I would love to see it come back with new engine and better performance. I'd pay for that.
@@sgtsylver Same and 20 per month is steep considering the time grind of the game to get things accomplished. Plus i already owned the game and paid for the game so its hard for me to pay twice for the same game nothing improved. But, the game does have a lot more game to it than most and its a medieval builder. I always thought it was a really cool game tho. The terrain being able to be manipulated was something i always wished more builders had.
@@DerpMcDerp101 Same. I bought it and my band of bros played the heck out of it for a good while. If they could improve the game and its performance our gang would give it another go.
The only thing that you can build in water is the fishing hut. I use them unfinished as a swimming dock in some areas or bridges. They count as a building though toward your limit.

Hello,
I just discovered your RUclips channel on Medieval Dynasty and I subscribed right away. It's really excellent.
Please continue 👍
Thank you! I hope to do so. Thanks for letting me know, I really do appreciate it.
You have renewed my interest in this chill game again.
That is excellent. It is a chill game. Thanks for participating!
You're making me jump back in the game after about two years of pause :) Nice village man. Keep making videos ;)

Beautiful. I know you can’t do it but a time lapse of those 18 years would epic

Great work! Definitely subbed, can't wait for more Medieval Dynasty content!

Looks wonderful, thank you for sharing! First playthrough, year 5 here. Love the hitching post for your horse, gonna have to incorporate that :).

Curious, what is your current building count and population of your settlement?
Population is 114, building limit is 119 out of 140

I started in the same area and this clears my settlement by far . Whats your population?
I don't recall, what my pop was at the time of this video. I probably go over it at some point.
OMG your town looks amazing!!! I think i chose the wrong location for mine >.
There is no "wrong". But you can always move. Thanks for being here and watching!
