It's the preseason, I think we can calm down just a bit. Nothing went wrong, it was a scrimmage.
Oh no it wasn't just a scrimmage you could tell by how both teams got after each other..I knew after first game denver pissed the celts off by how hard they played and I knew celts were going to another level in game 2....I love the nuggs I have season tickets but I can see boston has another level
@rickdouglas8357 right, but the Jays only played half of the game, and the rest of the starters played less. And the only 2 starters the Nuggets had played a quarter and a half of the game.
It was pre-season, and the starters barely played. That's not even factoring in that nobody takes pre-season games seriously. Not the coaches, not the players. Even if Boston decided to take it seriously, it's still against a team that played it's 2 starters 19min.
It is as meaningless of an encounter as you could make it in the NBA.

@rickdouglas8357 - both teams barely played a fraction of your starters. I agree it wasn't fully meaningless. It's important to the guys who are trying to make the team and leave and impression on the coach as they try to make the rotation. For them pre-season doesn't just matter it's their playoffs.
But to literally everyone else on the team, it's just a scrimmage. Nobody is invested in winning a game in October 7th. Even if they were playing mad for the 25 minutes the Jays played, it's still 0.0000000000000000001% of the effort they will play with on October 22, and 0.0001x10^-990000000000000000000 the effort they will play with after Christmas. It's pre-season, it means less than nothing when it comes to the Celtics and how they will play this year against anyone.
It's pre season,I highly doubt we have seen any sign of what the Nuggets are really capable of, perspective.

Celtics beat the Nuggets in both preseason games, but what Malone said are all facts though. He did also said Nuggets lost because of their turnovers, transitional defense, and defensive breakdowns in general. Was it not true that the Celtics played their starters more minutes into the 3rd quarter? The Nuggets also didn't play Aaron Gordon, MPJ, Russel Westbrook, Peyton Watson, and DeAndre Jordan. Or you can't possibly think not having Porzingis and Horford is the same as not playing 5 rotation players? How is that an excuse if he was just describing he doesn't put much stocks into this game? Guess what. Your coach doesn't put much stocks into a preseason game either despite it being a blowout. You can talk all you want when the Celtics beat the Nuggets in the regular season.
Nuggets would trade all those guys for porzingis and horford....say what you want but malone had them playing very hard he wanted to win...Celt starting lineup beat denvers starters and WE WONT EVEN TALK ABOAT THE BENCH
