With Schwarzenegger reprising his role and his daughter was supposed to be the woman working at the Nakotomi building that he was supposed to be visiting, but both he and Alyssa Milano did not want to reprise their films and instead a rewrite was penned and Willis was cast to play the role of a cop not a soldier.
