Think of it like “covering the spread” in sports. If you’re seeing a stock at 20 dollars right? If you bet on ‘15’ you’ve already “covered the spread” by being 5 dollars below the target. It’s called in the money in stock market terms. That’s why it’s more expensive. The cheaper stuff will be “trying to make the spread” so to speak. The bet is “it’s a 20 dollar stock so I bet 22 so it’s gotta hit 22 or I will lose.” That’s called being “out of the money” in stock market terms. It's listed on the app $2.30 -$2.24, per share, so it's $230-224, per option contact, as one option is per x100 shares. But in general it depends on where you can have your bid accepted. The Delta shows how much you make per share, but the IV may further amplify the gain. For the 15 call, your stand is to make 70% of the upward price movement per share. Personally I would go deeper in the money for a 80 to 90 Delta.

What does put in a call mean?
Think of it like “covering the spread” in sports. If you’re seeing a stock at 20 dollars right? If you bet on ‘15’ you’ve already “covered the spread” by being 5 dollars below the target. It’s called in the money in stock market terms. That’s why it’s more expensive. The cheaper stuff will be “trying to make the spread” so to speak. The bet is “it’s a 20 dollar stock so I bet 22 so it’s gotta hit 22 or I will lose.” That’s called being “out of the money” in stock market terms. I am trying to find out the full “why?” behind all the choices and picks to make the most money on. I hope it helps.

I invest in few of these but my portfolio is still down by approximately 28% and there's no hope in sight. Buying is not even an option. The Delta shows how much you make per share, but the IV may further amplify the gain. For the 15 call, your stand is to make 70% of the upward price movement per share. Personally I would go deeper in the money for a 80 to 90 Delta.

The US economy is already in recession. Any rate cut will not ignite inflation. The banks will tighten even more, all consumer and corporate credit lending. This is the beginning of a deflationary period for your assets. Stocks markets will decline, and stock values disappear in a blink of the eye. In fact, when the FED cut rates in Sept, it will signify that the Titanic is going under, and it will suck everything down. Retail and housing sales will truly decline as consumer hold off their purchases. The inverted yield curve will then turn positive, but remember, certain assets like stocks and Crypto’s acts as a hedge. Long & short-term trading is generally safer, allowing investors to weather market volatility. I have managed to grow a nest egg of around 130k to a decent 532k in the space of a few months...
