Oh well, I'm depressed now -.-' Yesterday I finished the fourth season, and seeing Matt Smith playing the Doctor... :( I just... David Tennant is the perfect doctor :'( Maybe when I see more chapters of the fifth season I'll like the eleventh doctor, but I don't think there's anyone who can beat David. Tenth doctor is the best!
Ten will forever be my doctor. David Tennant brought such depth and complexity to the character. He literally became the character. His arc is by far the most fascinating to witness unfold. I love Ten so much, and DW will never be the same without him.
Yunus Tekbas FUCK, Kidneys, i've got new kidneys I don't like the fucking colour! Just One Fucking Question! Do you know how to fucking fly this fucking thing?
You aren't the only one. D: Every time I watch this I get this chill/shiver down my back and I just kinda freeze for a second. That selection constantly haunts me.
TOP 4 REASONS TEN IS AWESOME 1. He was goofy in a better way than 11 , 9 and 12. 2. When they say" the doctor is like fire" 9, 11 and twelve dont really express that if you know what i mean. 3. He expresses the fury of a timelord and the burden WAY better than 11, 9 and 12. 4. He is great at acting sad. Especially, " I'm sorry, I'm so sorry".
I think we all fell in love with No. 10 because we view the series from the Rose's POV, because she falls in love, so do we! We only view all the Doctors from the POV of the companions and feel exactly what they feel, be it a brother, a friend, a lover or a protector!
***** I don't ship them, that would be ridiculous. I'm just speaking from the POV of the audience. None of us could get over Tennant, so we all sort of viewed Matt Smiths Doctor as a friend, and MS was epic too. I love how they tied the entire story together in the end. But Tennant was erratic and loud and confident, not to mention he is a brilliant actor.
The_Howler Probably because David and Catherine are such amazing friends outside of their roles. They were absolutely amazing together!!! And Donna was the most perfect fit for a long-time companion for the Doctor, because they were the best of friends. They got along perfectly and knew and understood how each other functioned and worked properly. It's too bad she had to go. :< The Doctor and Donna shoulda been traveling them stars for the rest of Donna's life. ;^;
You didn't get the part in the Christmas episode when he says "I don't know about you but when I see a big red button I feel like doing this *push*." And activates the a+ blood control. God I love David Tennant.

Doctor Who has change my life. It has been 2 years till now and I don't regret any minute spent on watching it and other things connected. This show made me feel awesome everyday
After completing 11's run as Doctor - it's hard choosing between 10 and 11 because they are both absolutely stunning and brilliant. They are both probably the best embodiments of The Doctor. Both of them are incredibly talented - and put in their heart and soul into the role. Very moving. I think I adore them both equally.
David Tennant is and will always be the best Doctor because he's funny and always caring for his companions he's sweet and brave and willing to help anyone who asks for help he is a sign of hope for millions of Doctor who fans. He will always be the doctor to me even when he doesn't play the doctor I think of him as the doctor still he'll be the doctor forever in my point of view ^_^ The doctor with converse and the best brown eyes that you can get lost in ever.
+David Lee yep David Tennant will be the best doctor forever I didn't like when he had to leave doctor who I thought awww why do you have to go I liked The waters of mars episode because you can really see David Tennant in action like the part where he went back to the place everyone was at and helped them. I'm gonna add you to my friends list if that's alright.
***** Yes I do, it's good to have a friend that has the same name as my favorite doctor I used to have a friend that had that name but I don't see him any more. Anyway yes David Tennant will always win in every episode that I saw of him playing the doctor I knew he would defeat evil and win ^_^
***** Hey David your right about everything you said David Tennant is awesome as the doctor he gives people hope when he played the doctor. I didn't like when he regenerated because I was like why does he have to go :( but he will always be the best doctor I don't care what people say David Tennant is better then Matt I liked Christopher as the doctor too but when David showed up I was like he's even better then Christopher and funnier. us David Tennant fans should stick together because there are a lot of Matt smith fans but David Tennant has a lot of fans too ^_^
***** yeah he is the best and no one can say he isn't because he really is everyone likes the other doctors but I like David because he really cares for all his companions and all of his companions made him a better person. Everyone has a doctor they prefer yours and mine is David Tennant.
I remember when I first watched the episode where that lady repeated everything the Doctor said and when the Doctor said 'Rose Tyler' I like screamed for eternity.
I still watch Who to this day and I feel it's never been able to replicate how amazing Tennant's era was (and Eccleston too to be fair). I personally was never much of a fan of Matt Smith, he seems like an ok guy but I didn't like the interpretation. I also felt the change in writing really hit the show hard. It just felt much smoother, concise and refined during Tennant's era. The scripts now are borderline awful. Some of the episodes are just so awful and it's always trying to be confusing. Tennants era was the best for me, no doubt, love him to pieces.
This is a really cool collaboration of the episodes. Very well done, with well-transitioned clips and an overall great effect. I loved the 10th Doctor of all the newest Doctors in the Doctor Who series.
One thing I loved about Tennant was the way changed emotions so quickly. He's calm one second with a smile then he's fucking livid. and it never seemed forced either.
DT is what introduced me to Doctor Who three years ago...and still to this day he will always be my favorite Doctor. Matt Smith does the role as the 11th Doctor brilliantly he definitely as grown on me...but you never forget your first love! My first love=David Tennant as the 10th Doctor!
Ooh! I really miss these old episodes. Somedays somethings make me remember one of david's episodes and I watch that episode even though I watched it couple of times.
When Tennant first came on the show, I wasn't very open to him because I had gotten very attached to Eccleston. But now, I spend five hours of my day rambling about him to random people and have a poster of him in my room.
Doctor who was so much better during and before david tennant. Ever since he regenerated the doctor somehow got dumber and became a total dip stick. I miss how everything was solved with knowledge that no one understood.
Well said. I've often tried to discern exactly what it is about Matt Smith's Doctor that just doesn't quite hit the mark for me, and I think you've just hit the nail on the head with that final sentence. That said, I still enjoyed Matt Smith's tenure immensely, there was just a little something missing...
It is ABSOLUTELY worth watching! It's got fantastic acting, themes, concepts, (maybe not incredible special effects, but whatever), and it explores the concept of love and loss very well. I'd suggest starting with the modern series (Season 1, Christopher Eccleston), which then moves on to David Tennant for Seasons 2-4, and then continue on with Matt Smith! (And catch up on the previous doctors when you're done :) )
Although I hate to admit it, I agree with you on that. I tried really hard to see Matt as The Doctor, but I was always wanting in the back of my mind for it to be like Ten's era. Nine was my first, but Ten was my Doctor, and I don't think that will ever change. I have the same hope for Peter, especially knowing that Neil Cross, writer of "Luther" is doing an episode for the next season. Hope it's not too dark, is all I can say... - Sly
I recently leaped into the DW fandom...started with Rose, and just finished the End of Time. Literally bawling for the last hour. Matt Smith is okay, but will never replace him. =(
No in that clip shown she was about to be pulled into "the void" where nothing exists. However Pete from the parallel world came and transported her back with him. When the crack in the universe (that led to the void) was closed off by the Doctor it meant that travel between dimensions (such as to the parallel world that Rose was now in) was impossible. She did manage to come back a few seasons later but was eventually returned to that world. So he "lost" her because he can never see her again.
I think it went well with Tens personality. Seeing as he is really human and emotional and mentioned before that regenerating feels like dying ("a new man goes sauntering away, and I'm dead"), it just seems fitting that he doesn't want to. He's not an easy-going Doctor, but one who has known much pain and suffered a great deal, partly just because he is so human he can feel that. Also, Ten really is vain and said before he doesn't want to change because he knows himself he's handsome. ;)
@fisher10000 Thank you! I'd figured it out this afternoon, right before I logged on & saw your answer. It's the Easter special from 08 or 09 (can't remember) . I saw The Next Doctor & COMPLETELY (somehow) missed this....thanks again.
I definitely think so! I reccomend starting with Chris Eccleston (the 9th doctor). It's only thirteen episodes (one season) until Tennant and it will explain some things (like how Rose got there for instance).
I think you've hit the nail on the head, or at least pointed out a big part of why a lot of people still like the Tenth Doctor better than the Eleventh. The Eleventh grates me at times. I want to see and feel the loneliness, without him becoming too emo (which he did in the Christmas special).
It's the same person... if you've been watching for 40+ years... your favorite is "the doctor". you'll all get over the regen process... it's hard, when it's your first time, like so many with David.... so hard to accept that first regen you watch as a fan. but it's the same person....
I hate next to every fanmade trailer for every to any thing. Yet... Wow. You sir get every last shred of approval I can muster - given a tiny bit of industry coaching you could outshine the best of those trained to do this!
David Tennant IS the "Doctor" no disrespect to those who came before or after but he is the BEST one EVER....I soooo miss him.
Oh well, I'm depressed now -.-'
Yesterday I finished the fourth season, and seeing Matt Smith playing the Doctor... :( I just... David Tennant is the perfect doctor :'( Maybe when I see more chapters of the fifth season I'll like the eleventh doctor, but I don't think there's anyone who can beat David. Tenth doctor is the best!
Yeah, I mean, Matt Smith is a great actor but the writing of Eleven lacks the complexity of Nine and Ten.
PaulaG So what do you think now? Three years after
@@keya4227 what about now?!
Oh I have some news for you then
Ten will forever be my doctor. David Tennant brought such depth and complexity to the character. He literally became the character. His arc is by far the most fascinating to witness unfold. I love Ten so much, and DW will never be the same without him.
I toatally agree with you
I just think he's hot
so true - brilliant actor!
what about now
"Shamble bobble dibble dooble" A+ writing
Eccleston treated everything seriously.
Tenant treated things like an adventure
Smith treated things like a joke
All great Doctors in different ways
Now Capaldi treats everything like a calculation.
All the same person, all different personalities. Such an awesome premise.

1. He was goofy in a better way than 11 , 9 and 12.
2. When they say" the doctor is like fire" 9, 11 and twelve dont really express that if you know what i mean.
3. He expresses the fury of a timelord and the burden WAY better than 11, 9 and 12.

I agree Donna was the best. Their chemistry was flawless. And I'm not talking about romantic chemistry, I just mean they did good together. lol

Like if you think that David Tennant was the best doctor and that he should have lived a couple more seasons.
I can't stop watching Doctor Who. I've watched the whole series over and over again I've stopped keeping count.
My favourite doctor!
Ive heard a lot of people say that matt smith does epic speeches, but I find that david tennants does so much more awesome in one or two sentences.
10th is the best
And Eleventh...
Scarlet Ellen yes indeed

From your text, I understand why you would like this.
David Tennant is terrific (as always)........but the whole stuff is outstanding! Bravo!
I still watch Who to this day and I feel it's never been able to replicate how amazing Tennant's era was (and Eccleston too to be fair). This is the best doctor!
He's bloody brilliant!
I think you got the title wrong. It's supposed to be, "David Tennant - The Best of Doctor Who."
One thing I loved about Tennant was the way changed emotions so quickly. He's calm one second with a smile then he's fucking livid. and it never seemed forced either.
I wish they would bring back the old writers and better actors.
That... was... BEAUTIFUL. I almost started crying in class!
he was the best doctor
by far. my childhood man

To many.
DT is what introduced me to Doctor Who three years ago...and still to this day he will always be my favorite Doctor. Matt Smith does the role as the 11th Doctor brilliantly he definitely as grown on me...but you never forget your first love! My first love=David Tennant as the 10th Doctor!

DT and CE, definitely the two best doctors, but that's because I've only known Tom baker and onwards.
He will always be my awesome and epic doctor :D I miss him so much though D,;
How can a video called, "The Best of David Tennant" only be 3:04 long? Needs to be at least a half an hour.
I hope in the literally last episode of docter who all his forms combine and he meets all his companions together in one place
shumble-duble-dibbleXD
Lol
"No, please, NO !" Okay my heart just broke into million of pieces. And the face he is making just after, I can't endure it !
THE BEST DOCTOR EVER AND EVER :3

lol i have a dog, guess what i named him? :3

Who can possibly thumb this down? :-) this doctor is simply the best one from new series
Doctor who was so much better during and before david tennant. Ever since he regenerated the doctor somehow got dumber and became a total dip stick. I miss how everything was solved with knowledge that no one understood.
I love the David Tennant!
I love this video!
Anything David tennant is better than matt smith
ah well i just cut it out of the episode. it's fun to find you having it, since there's SO many different dashie's you could cap or find places :P
There are much more than that. David has brought the depth to the character, which Matt was not capable of.
My favorite Doctor !!!!
David Tennant is the best Doctor ever !!!!
whenever I'm angry I just shout SHAMBLE BOBBLE DIBBLE DOOBLE and I know everything's gonna be alright. thank you, tenth, for your epicness.
Thank you. Finally someone else who has at least a little bit of sense.
he's not suppose to replace David, he's taking on the role of the Doctor and making it his own.
that. THAT
THE COMPLETE SPECIALS
THAT IS WHAT I NEED
oh thanks i will find it and watch it happily
I feel exactly the same. It hasn't stopped me watching though!

David tennant. By far the best doctor ive seen. And the most doctorish ive seen.
Whoever made this is a genius
great! not saying Tennant is "the best doctor", he is just MY favorite. Woots for this video!
OMG. The FEELS!!!! I'm going to cry in the corner now. (The sequences of Doomsday and then Donna's memory wipe - it hurts...)
Great video!

All of David Tennant, is the best of David Tennant.
It's the same person... if you've been watching for 40+ years... your favorite is "the doctor".
you'll all get over the regen process... it's hard, when it's your first time, like so many with David.... so hard to accept that first regen you watch as a fan.
