- Today, I am ranking every ride at Busch Gardens Tampa. This park has awesome roller coasters and family rides. Which one is the best? Let's find out! Keep in mind the fact that Iron Gwazi has not opened as of when this video is being made. That means I will not be ranking it. The ranking is as of June 15, 2021.

Interesting video including all the rides. I love the list man. Pretty much agree with everything except Phoenix being the worst ride. I totally understand the hate for it and how much it hurts, but I dunno. Maybe there’s just nostalgia there for me. I was riding the Phoenix before I ever rode my first roller coaster (Kumba in 93, I was 11 yrs old).

Great video and great list! I've been on Banshee before too. The train ride looked nice. I liked the water rides. You misspelled "Tampa Bay". It's ok.

I’m very excited to ride Montu the next time I go to Busch Gardens. I haven’t ridden much rides there. I’ve only ridden cheetah hunt, cobras curse, scorpion, and sand serpent but I know for sure I will like montu and all the other ones I haven’t ridden.

I honestly don't know how people don't like Tigris restraints. Falling into the soft shoulder straps is nice when hanging upside down.
I have always felt that while they are soft, they kind of keep you in one spot and take away from the hangtime. Maybe that's just me, but that was my biggest issue with the ride.
really?! i prefer no comfort collar because it takes away from the overall ride experience
They cut into my shoulders. I'm 5'11" so I KNOW that for very tall people it has to hurt. And just the fact that they're called "comfort collars" proves that it's just for grabbing onto and serves no actual safety function. Also, they cause loading/unloading to take longer.

My favorite ride there is Iron Gwazi, followed by Cheetah Hunt, old Gwazi, Sheikra, Kumba, Montu, Cobra's Curse, Stanley Falls Flume, Congo Rapids, Sand Serpent (R.I.P.), Tanganyika Tidal Wave (R.I.P.), Scorpion, and Python (R.I.P.). Falcoln's Fury was closed last time I went there.
As Much As I Hate Kumba It Is Definitely Better Then Old Gwazi It Was Super Rough (This Is Coming From A Guy Who Says Son Of Beast Is Better Then Mystic Timbers So Don't Judge)
How can anyone not like BGT? It's such a great park. It's a level higher than Six Flags and Cedar Fair parks, but just below Disney and Universal parks. Now BGT has more thrills overall than those two, but BGT just has a higher level quality and upkeep compared to other parks. Love it!! I respect your rankings. I would definitely move some of the coaster rankings around, but this park will be at upper tier elite park when Iron Gwazi opens.

I agree that Falcon's Fury is better than a lot of the coasters. Kind of afraid that it may not open back up though. It's been closed for 4+ months since the ICON park incident. Cool rare footage of Phoenix ACTUALLY working too lol. I thought it was permanently closed a few years ago.
The footage of Phoenix is pretty old (hence the lower quality) and I hope Falcon opens back up.

We just went there this weekend love sheikra. I think we missed spell that lol.
You spelled it correctly. Sheikra is a great ride.
my personal ranking of the main coasters:
1. cheetah hunt (lots of airtime)
2. iron gwazi (amazing but a bit too intense)
3. sheikra (usually short wait times, i marathonned it)
4. cobras curse (some of the best theming ive ever experienced)
5. tigris (bad restraints)
6. montu (boring)
7. kumba (boring and painful)
Nice ranking. I can respect all of those choices.
1. Iron Gwazi super intense barely edges out Cheeta Hunt
2. Cheeta Hunt most fun, good air just a blast to ride
3. Tigirs it is the loose restraints that make the ride an adventure
4. Cobra's Curse just a good fun ride
5. Scorpion because it is the only OG ride left other than the flume and skyride
6. Sheikra to short and looks intimidating from the ground
7. Montu is fun but a big to long
8. Kumba to rough and your head bangs around into the restraints
I miss Python period!!!!
BG is my home park and I grew up with it and been going all the way back when the Gardens were free. Yes I am that old.

It’s good to start small. If you want to rank a park with a small ride collection, most Disney second gates are good.

#3 Shekria (Underrated Great Pacing Good Splashdown However It Is Quite Short But I Love Dive Coasters)
#4 Tigris (Fairly Underrated The Restraints Are Quite Annoying But Hangtime And Inversions Are Great)

I live in Florida and Busch gardens is one of my favorite places to go

Me ranking everything I rode: (Falcon’s Fury was closed for me)
1. Iron Gwazi - elite coaster
2. SheiKra - dive coasters are super underrated and so fun
3. Serengeti Flyer - new for 2023 amazing flat ride
4. Cheetah Hunt - family coaster, just pure fun
5. Tigris - short and a little uncomfortable, but still a really fun ride
6. Stanley Falls - super underrated log flume
7. Cobra’s Curse - decent
8. Congo River Rapids - mid tier rapids ride but I love rapids rides
9. Serengeti Railway - nice train ride around the park, I like this one
10. Sand Serpent - generic but ok
11. Kumba - a little rough not my favorite but still kinda fun
12. Montu - most overrated coaster I’ve ever ridden, I found it to be really boring and just not great
13. Air Grover - just a kiddie coaster
14. Scorpion - no
Also, Sand Serpent is the least jerky of the three wild mice I’ve done lol. The others were Primeval Whirl at Animal Kingdom and Cheddar Chase at Alabama Adventure.
And how would Serengeti Flyer rank on this list?

@@ChickenTruck69-dl8ck Tigris is uncomfortable but it’s still a really good coaster.
And yea Cheetah Hunts restraints suck but on a ride as mild as cheetah hunt it’s not as bad as it would be on something as intense as Tigris.
Both coasters are pretty interchangeable for me, I just ranked Cheetah Hunt higher because it’s a longer ride and just feels fun.
I Respect That But Cheetah Hunt's Restraints Are Worse Then Skyrush For Me

Most of the kids rides can not be ridden without a kid, but I know Air Grover can be.

I have to disagree with you over tigris. I thought that it was one of the best in the park. It was very intense. Everything else on the list seems amazing.good job!

What do you think is better Busch Gardens Williamsburg or Busch Gardens Tampa? I have never been to BGT but I think Williamsburg is better if you don't count the new coasters that haven't opened
I haven’t done Williamsburg recently, but while Williamsburg has better theming, Tampa has awesome animal attractions and a slightly better ride collection.
@@ThemeParkAvenue Tampa does have the animals that is true but. I really like apollos chariot, verbolten, and invadr plus loch ness is way more iconic than scorpion. I don't know if iron gwazi can make up for those rides especially when pantheon looks so good too.
@@ThemeParkAvenue cheetah hunt looks probably more fun than verbolten though. And I am sure kumba and montu are great but alpengeist isn't a bad ride i'm sure
@@chargedonpc9989 it could. I feel personally that Montu beats Alpengeist, Cheetah Hunt beats any launch coaster at Williamsburg so far, and Kumba makes up for Apollo. Both are certainly great though.
@@ThemeParkAvenue yeah I think I agree other than I'm not sure if Kumba would make up for not having apollo's for me but I haven't ridden kumba so I don't know.

@@coasterteen7578 if it’s not during spring break, that’s a good day. Check the school calendars if nearby counties to see if they have break at that time assuming you go in late March or any time in April.
