I bought a Kingston SSD in 2022, it died in less than a year, the computer was freezing in the drives last months of life which I didn't find suspect. So be careful with that company products.

No no no, Sandisk Extreme Pro 128Gb died yesterday after 520 days from purchase (around 300 days used in Mio dashcam). We do not have warranty, or is 1 year. Why are you lie to me that Sandisk will cover me?

A1 is for battery balancing. Those cards that don't have the A1, can't fix the battery and charging errors of phones. To use the fix, you must start a picture from the card. The picture must have a direct light source, such as a lamp. Black picture won't speed up your device. Use your picture as a background or startup image, and must be on the card. The battery balancing starts when you watch a movie from your card, until your phone or tab drains to zero. Without the A1 you can't do it. Works with old Symbian phones, too. For Symbian, if Real Player can't show the video stream, the fix is still done. When finished, you can use your A1 card for other fixes as a tool.

My 512gb Kingston lasted about a month in my Steamdeck it wasn't used as main storage.
