NEW Lone Peak Tram at Big Sky Resort breaks ground

Excited skiers and riders got first chair on Tuesday morning so they could start queuing up to be among the first to ride Big Sky’s new Lone Peak tram to the summit.
After more than two years of construction and planning, Big Sky Resort’s general manager, Troy Nedved, along with the resort’s president and COO, Taylor Middleton, rang the Doppelmayr Bell, a tradition that signals the completion of a new chairlift.
