I became fluent in Spanish at 25 years old. I didn’t know a word of it prior. The reason most adults cannot learn a new languages is because there isn’t a lot of incentive to do so, and well… life is overwhelming as an adult. It’s hard to find the time required.
Luckily I met a beautiful Mexican woman who only spoke Spanish, so I dedicated my life to learning Spanish.
Now I’m a Spanish teacher. Haha.

Real talk, learning language isn't as difficult as people think, it's repetition and consistency, no diff from any other skill. Taught myself Mandarin to live there for a year and only spent 3 months, long story short, they were highly impressed.
