That was nice discussion. Sunnies and shias must come at least this close to properly talk and respect each other.
Wallahi it is so wonderful if we don't blame each other for what happened 1400yrs ago, we were not living at that time for sure and can't look in to the hearts of those people whom we have greatest regards and respect. Ali radhiallahu anh for me definitely greater and higher in rank than muawiha radhiallahu anh.
We should give the benefit of doubt to each other because in those 1400yrs how many stories might have been brought in by cunning outsiders to give a different narrative to this misunderstanding between both these personalities,we don't know coz we are living in today's world. If we can't go back in time to see what had happened then, then we should not also try to solve this matter today as we don't have authority.
Let this dispute to God for solution, becoz by blaming muawiya Rd anh, sunnies fear they might do disrepect to a great sahabi who was a katibe wahii , and shia think by respecting muawiya Rd anh they are doing injustice with the ahle bait.
We both have our fears, so let us comfort each other and unite in the name of Allah, and his rasool, and his quran... At least here we are still one family.

The priest knew me from my previous surgery and helped me, No words of Faith, No words of God, just help from one man to another... After the second operation I took communion and prayed.... Abu Bakr Omar and Uthman are above all of the sahaba
And Aisha is above all the sahabiyat
Doesn't matter if they were from the best family which is the family of the prophet ﷺ.
Ali رضي الله عنه was asked by his son "who is the best of this ummah?" And he said: "Abu Bakr."
      His son asked:"Who then?"
      He said: "Omar"
His son asked: "then you?" Because he was scared that Ali would say Uthman
      Then Ali showed his humility.
      رضي الله عنهم
In a Hadith the prophet ﷺ was asked "if I look for you and don't find you who should i go to?"
      He ﷺ said: Abu Bakr
      The questioner asked: "Who then?"
      He ﷺ said: Omar
      In another hadith
The prophet ﷺ said: If i were to take a bossom friend it wouldve been Abu Bakr but islamic brotherhood is enough(or something like that)
In another hadith The prophet ﷺ said: the virtue of Aisha over other women is like ...(his ﷺ favorite food) over other foods
In a hadith Ali when he was at Omar's deathbed he said: Congratulations to you
The prophet ﷺ always used to say: "me Abu bakr and Omar did
      Me Abu bakr Omar went..."
      In the quran

Something that is quite evident in the titles of most of these videos of discussions between Sunnis and Shias, is a strong element of hypocrisy, insult and discrimination against Shias! In every one of the videos that I have watched that this Shia man whose name as I understood is Zeid has never been mentioned. Instead, as we could see on the title here above he has been named as "Shia blade Runner" But the name of his opponents who one could presume of being Sunnis has always been written in full!
Now, in regard to this matter, one always could give it a benefit of doubt and think it is just an innocent mistake, yet if that was only in one of the videos one perhaps could think that is possible but when we see more than one video that possibility to believe it has been a mistake is almost zero.

But the Quranic evidenves support one side. The Quran says all the sahaba of the Prophet are believers:
"Not equal among you are those who spent (freely) and fought, before the Victory, (with those who did so later). Those are higher in rank than those who spent (freely) and fought afterwards. But TO ALL HAS ALLAH PROMISED A GOODLY (reward).....” [57:10]
The shias however believe that aside from a few, all of the sahaba disbelived. So aren't they contradicting the Quran when it says that Allah has promised a good reward to all those who have fought with the Prophet, which includes the sahaba.
The Quran also calls the wives of the Prophet the mothers of the believers, but the shias disrespect hazrat Aisha. Aren't they contradicting the Quran here.

@Ali Ajam And what does that prove? It's a narration. Unlike QUR'AN the Hadith are not protected. Mufti Abu layth example gives examples of several Hadith in bukhari that are not true. So lol u go round in circles 😉 but 1 point eliminates all Shias: if you were not there why delve into it and curse special people/family members of the beloved. @Ali Ajam The prophet (saw) prayed for his enemies to accept Islam so how about a companion whom we don't have sufficient evidence. Staying silent doesn't make it a sin which is my stance, but cursing/talking bad puts you in dangerous territory if by chance you're wrong?

Killing someone in war doesn't require hate - just a conflict in faith, opinion or interest. In long, drawn out wars the sides often come to hate each other because of the war itself, but that is seldom the initial reason for the war. Even when hate does exist between the two sides (e.g. Umayyads vs Abbasids), a conflict of interest is often still the prime motivator.
As an aside, its a real shame they used numbers to run this guy out of SC - this was an interesting discussion.

Theses differences are really not even worth talking about in these times when the Zionists have taken over the world and wish to wipe out Islam. We are the only people able to stand against there dajjal armies. So have to put aside our differences imam mehdi can clear them up for us when him reach. But we cannot turn our backs to the kabba or any of the sahabba pbu them all. We just have to follow the quaran and sunnah of allah, he knows best. Any quarrels they may have had in the past are their problems to have taken with them for allah to judge. I am Sunni but have always loved Iran and khomayni for what they achieved I only wish something like that could happen in the false Saudi states all Zionist scum princes of one eyed dajjal. Here's an analogy.
Everybody knows that America went to war with Iraq on the basis of a lie
ie : weapons of mass destruction
That's what Mu'awiah did to Inam Ali .
His excuse was revenge for the blood of Uthman
    when Imam Ali (as) said
" I am the most innocent of it " .
And if he was guilty of it .. then it would mean he did not accept Uthman as a Khalifa
in the same way Mu'awiah did not accept Imam Ali (as) as a Khalifa .
When the concept then of The Four Rightky Guided Caliphs are contested by not just The Sahaba,
    but by the Khulufa themselves
then the traditional Sunni Muslim identity / standard of leadership & Authority falls flat on it's face .
Mohammad Hijab knows this as a Salafist
so the Salafist is left with only one argument
& that is to contend with the eternal Qur'anic concept if Divinely Appointed Authority . after The Holy Prophet (pbuh)
This will be disputed however in one verse :
" Guide us along The Straight Path.
The Path of Those whom You have Favoured " .
If it maybe concluded that Mohammad (pbuh) is included amongst THOSE people
Then the rest of THOSE people have been destined for appointment in the same way Mohammad has : ie via Divine Appointment .
" I am going to put a Khalifa on the Earth " - Holy Qur'an
Allah chooses The Khalifa therefore in every era
    " There is a Guide for Every Nation " - Holy Qur'an
& this is corroborated by none other than the words of The Qur'an.

This “discussion” was pretty disturbing to watch. Zain kept making great points and Mohammed was so obviously desperate to change every subject every time Zain hit the nail on the head. What was even more annoying was Mohammed’s way of laughing everything off. There were somepretty serious topics being discussed while he was doing so, very disrespectful. Completely childish. If you’re going to have a discussion, let it only be with people who are mature enough to have one, and admit when they are wrong. And of course, how much easier is it to win a discussion when you can blame everything on taqiyyah instead of bringing actual legit counterarguments? Anyways, the misleading title should’ve been enough for me to know where this was headed.

The man came running to him and asked, "You had a chance to kill me since I was defeated; how come you didn't use your sword?" Ali said, "I have no personal animosity toward you. I was fighting you because of your disbelief, on behalf of God. If I had killed you after you spat on my face, then it would have become my personal revenge which I do not wish to take."
