      They’re predominantly used for pelagic salt water fish. Dog fights and stellas are in a league of their own in terms or stopping power and quality for GT ect

      Don't get into fly fishing... Thousands bucks for a top line reel (a curado equivalent in fly fishing) do they make a difference like going from a 50$ baitcaster to a curado? Absolutely not 😂😂

    The 350 I caught off Tampa is the only fish in my life that pinned the rod to the side of the boat and I could not lift it off. You get why they have to be so heavily protected, they're so aggressive that if you could keep them it wouldn't be difficult to destroy a local population.

The excitement about every little thing; seeing a huge jack swim up and down the canal to a snook taking a swipe at a gar, to catching a 10 inch sheep with the same excitement as a 40” snook. That’s why I love your videos so much. Your super humble, passionate and talented. Keep up the good work brother!!

I did comment on another video that you filmed at the same bridge and said you should get yourself some heavy fishing gear and try to rip that bridge troll out from those fenders... GUESS WHAT... you did it!!!!!! NOW let's see you catch a large jack and send it down there with a hand line and see how big some of those bridge monsters can be! I bet there are a few 300 or 400 pound behemoths down there.

    • @Snowkell
      @Snowkell 4 года назад

      yeah i use a 5500 penn slammer on a pe 1-3 jigging rod i always have loved that reel that drag can stop 9kg red emperor and 10kg black spot cod

  • @thenguyen4873
    @thenguyen4873 4 года назад

    You can't have alot of drag with grooper or any sort of reaf fish as the moment they get hooked they go straight back into the honey hole. Im not to sure about river groopers tho. In Australia with the red and blue grooper we have here the moment you hook them do everything you can to keep them away from the little cave or little rock holes.

    That Tern is great for big snook, reds, or decent for most bottom fishing. However you need to step into a Boss Valiant for those goliath grouper. My 2 speed BV 500 was $650.00 made in the USA and with 70+ pounds of drag I guarantee it would absolutely smoke that Chinese daiwa.
