  • I admit it-I totally hate my wardrobe right now. This video reveals the reasons why I hate my wardrobe right now, and gets to the root of why I'm feeling/experiencing wardrobe hate. I also talk about my plans to improve my overall health and wellness and get over hating my wardrobe. After contemplating my thoughts and feelings about hating my wardrobe, I come to a conclusion about my true feelings about my wardrobe. I am also sharing a resource I'm using to help me (and you, if needed) get back on track with loving what we wear:

Exactly. I am in my 60's . I always loved fashion , but in my 60's I want to be comfortable and confident in what I wear.

Absolutely! I am more in-touch with who I am at this stage in my life, and I want to be comfortable and confident in the body I have right now today!

Love your channel and I can totally relate! On top of working from home most days with easy access to my kitchen, we also bought a house in a new city and sold our old one. First I was stress eating, then I was happy eating. Pretty sure my husband and I have gained over 10 lbs in just six months. The clothes aren’t clothing anymore!

Thank you and congrats on your new home! I'm hoping to improve my health and wardrobe this season, even if I don't manage to lose one pound!

@@CristaStylista thank you! Yes, that’s a way I like to look at it, trying to get stronger and healthier (and dump my size fours for good, they aren’t ever coming back 😝).

I love your attitude. This is such a great topic, and I'm so glad you're discussing it! Also, conscious shopping and personal style is really the way forward--this is what I try to focus on.

Thank you for sharing this video. My body has also changed and I've come to accept that the weight is here to stay (now, it'll come off over time, but I'm in no rush and not making it a priority in this season). I also like the way I look and have a wardrobe that serves me well. It's colorful, vibrant and full of pieces that make me feel like a million bucks (when styled properly lol). But the chief takeaway from your video is for me to adjust my social media consumption to better capture the perspectives of people who actually live the kind of life I live NOW, have a figure that's similar to how I look TODAY and navigate the world with resources I ACTUALLY can take on myself. When I tell you my jaw dropped - I literally had never thought to do that. THANK YOU. Looking forward to seeing how you reshape your wardrobe! 🤗

Thank you for watching! Yes, I’m investing time in adjusting my viewing preferences so that the algorithm shows more content from creators I can relate to!

Hi Crista. I can relate on so many levels. I personally have unsubscribed from channels who constantly talk about luxury and labels, labels, labels (making billionaires richer 🙄.) it's unrealistic and definitely NOT my life. My only issue is the " image" they are selling/creating for young ladies who think that's the " I made it " goal. I do aim to lose weight but that has always been a struggle for me so, I just strive to look the best that I can. Hang in there, you're doing great ( especially looking out for your inner peace.) Take care ! 🙂

Thank you for your thoughtful comment Linda! I agree 100%! I'm sure it's difficult for women (younger women in particular) to define their own style when constantly inundated with content that equates style with how many items you have or how much you've spent on luxury. I'm still working on adjusting my wardrobe to suit my size and current season of life, but I want to make sure that I show this body that I have right now some love-it's been through a lot, has worked hard, and deserves to be dressed comfortably and stylishly!
