Her recent routines definitely do not compare to the ones she had in 2017,2018,and 2019. She’s so repetitive now. I think a lot of it has to do with her back injury limiting what she is able to do. It’s just not the same Dina fire and energy anymore.

Seems like her back injury is worse and it prevents Dina from doing the best she can. A lot of people say that she should end her career but look back at her previous time, we may never know how strong Dina is. She was not her best that day. She knew. Her coach knew. Viner knew. But for some reason, they still keep practicing and fighting in the end. That's how we grow from Sports. Training to be a good gymnast is hard, standing on top and keeping that position is way harder. Don't be a bad person - Praise her when she succeeds and tell her to stop when she makes mistakes, especially after the Olympics. And not just to Dina, but to all the gymnasts. Let them do what they love. Hopefully, she will try her best in the final! I love the twins! 🤍💙
people aren't saying she should retire bc she's not performing as well as before. there is a lot of context you are missing. the averinas said in an interview that after the olympics, they went to notify viner they were retiring, but viner cussed them out and refused to let them retire. viner said something to the effect of, did you think because there are younger gymnasts waiting for the spotlight, that you are free to leave now? get back on the carpet. also, if dina's back injury is so severe, why does she not rest? russia is not allowed to compete in fig sanctioned international competitions. this is the perfect time to take a break for her health, instead of continuing to compete in local competitions. before the olympics, the doctors said she needed surgery, and she opted to keep training for the olympics instead. if her back is so severely injured that she needs surgery but isn't getting it, and she can't even perform so many elements, and she is arriving to every competition covered in sports tape, then it's very likely she's causing herself permanent long-term health problems by continuing to train.
Definitivamente ya Dina no es la misma, no muestra su energía ni su espíritu competitivo de antes, se puede ver que su cuerpo, ya no le permite marcar ese ritmo que tenía antes y su majestuosidad con las masas, sin embargo es de admirar su perseverancia y constancia para querer seguir compitiendo y apoyando su hermana, pero es triste no verla en su mejor momento y triunfar como antes.

Definitivamente ya Dina no es la misma, no muestra su energía ni su espíritu competitivo de antes, se puede ver que su cuerpo, ya no le permite marcar ese ritmo que tenía antes y su majestuosidad con las masas, sin embargo es de admirar su perseverancia y constancia para querer seguir compitiendo y apoyando su hermana, pero es triste no verla en su mejor momento y triunfar como antes.
