Jay, you have to setup a trail cam. It would be interesting to find out who you’re curious visitors are. Plus you could check the SD card while at the tent.
I’ve been following your channel for a while now, Jay, and it’s so relaxing and comforting. Living in a large city, and a country where wild camping is overly restricted, I can only live vicariously through your shenanigans. Thank you man.
You know your business and how to behave in the wilderness. You face a challenge every time you go to your tent and that already needs a lot of courage. The wild world is never the same and that's what makes it so fascinating. Keep safe Jay 💕
As usual, I love your work. It is just so cool to spend time in the woods. In the cold. Your photography has gotten so good. The shots of the trees and ice were stunning. You in front of the stove and talking was so well done. I too enjoy being surrounded by wild animals. I live alone in the woods. Animals do not scare me. None of them do. People scare me. Stay happy.
Hi Jay. I always enjoy your videos. Cool shot of going through the trees on the snowmobile there at the end. I also enjoy the drone shots. But the best part is seeing what you cook on that wood burning stove!
My husband and I really enjoy watching your videos. Glad to see you wearing real fur. There is nothing like the warmth of it. Keep putting these wonderful video out. Thanks
The ambiance of your videos is spot on Jay. Nicely done . Yeah, the part I like the best when I go to my hot tent is to let the stove die and breath that cold air. I have a sleeping bag with a hoody and I put the hoody facing down on me and just keep a small opening for fresh air. Just awesome !! Thanks and take care
Hi Jay, thanks for loving doing what we love watching, in my country England we can not possible understand the temps you camp out in. We get to experience your amazing adventures through your brilliant videos not only do you cope with sub zero temps but have to contend with animals with big teeth that could be dangerous. keep up the wonderful vids and adventures Jay.

Love seeing you enjoying it so much out there, Jay. Wish you would build (or have built) a two bedroom cabin out there for you and your family to enjoy for longer than one night at a time. I know you would probably absolutely love to spend an entire weekend, if not longer, out there. A nice, comfy, cozy cabin would definitely fit the bill. Great video, as always. Stay safe!
Awesome as always Jay. Thank you for sharing and for all the hard work and time you put into your videos. They truly are amazingly awesome. KEEP ADVENTURING GOD BLESS YOU 🤗HUGS🤗
Had a stressful day today, I come home put some of your content on 👍 I am now healed, therapeutic, so relaxing, Thanks jay 💯😎 I also subscribed, enjoy your trip, moms are everything 💯
Another great video....very nice to sit down with a drink after a hard day in the steel yard and just relax and enjoy ....thank you for the content again...keep up the great work.
Jay, my third video and I just love watching. Your approach and love for the outside and to the wild is great to see. Love your simpleness and humbleness. By the way, your food always looks fantastic. Thanks as always for sharing. Greatly appreciated!!
Great vids! Maybe a video on how you set up at home before going to the tent. Then maybe an after a tent visit video. I'm always interested in the behind the scenes stuff. Maybe others too??? Either way great content. Keep up the good work.
Another great vid. Ty. I think if you have good knowledge of your enviroment, well organised and show the proper respect for the wild life around you then there shouldn't really be anyting to be afraid of. And all that comes with practice and research. Thanks again for the great vid.
Nice to see you again, my friend Jay you have been doing this camping for a long time, I think you're doing a great job, and you're keeping yourself while you're doing it
You're killing it out there Jay. Making the food look so good. Tks for the effort you put in all the recent videos. It's been so great watching it from the start. You live and play in a great piece of country!
Jay, you were born in the wrong century. You would have fit right in with the mountain men/trappers 150 years ago. Love your videos and words of wisdom. Looking forward to your next one.
"The animals minding their own business." That's funny, since you're all in theirs. That was cute. Be careful and do remember, you are in their face, not the other way around.
Jay, glad you have this place to get away. I live in a larger rural area and it gets larger by the day. I grew up in the woods of New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine, and I have to be honest I desperately miss those days. Love the outdoors and really miss it here in SC. It's too hot for me most of the year down here, combine that with nearly tropical levels of humidity and it's a nightmare. Love the great white northern countryside. I am really glad your drone can manage being up in that cold in hover while you take those great shots. Being so cold I am surprised the battery and drone itself don't stop functioning. I am also happy you have a lady friend who like to occasionally come up and spend some time up there with you. I wish I could convince my wife to do some cold weather camping, but she is a 30 year+ resident of SC and hates the cold haha. Keep up the great work.
Keep the content coming Jay we love seeing you camping in the extreme weather. I've made the sawdust firelighter with citronella oil! Works a treat! In the uk we call your wedges potato scallops, thinly sliced then roasted, deep fried or air fried. I loved the shot of your tent high up from the drone at night. Magic. Safe adventures to you buddy. 👍
That opening shot of you going into the tent and coming out with the light and it lit up the forest was so awesome! Oh and I'm surprised nobody has said use puffy Cheetos to start a fire! I use them to get my charcoal chimney started for my grill works every time
Jay, just awesome 👌 That food had me wiping my chin every 30 seconds . Stay safe out there brother, keep the eyes in the back of your head peeled at all times 👍
I understand what your saying, it takes time to get the courage to stay alone in a remote location. Being alert of your surroundings and looking for any signs of track's. I've been divorced since 2012 ,and still alone,it took me close to a yr to feel comfortable at remote property that I have now.its a rv with a room added on with a wood stove so very comfortable. There are cottages around but this area is for seasonal cottagers in the summer, hardly anyone around in the winter.im about 9 km back a dirt Rd with different wild animals . Jay, definitely not a fox, as nit in a straight line. If it was coyote or wolf, there would probably be more as these are pack animals, for the most part. Plus, with the crisp cold night there, you should hear coyotes yelping or the howl of a woof. So corn chips start fires, that is good for campers they do not have to find wood. Of course in the summer time it would not be good. For the bears would probably look for them. Want a cheap fire starter that lights extremely well and burns pretty good for a few minutes? Just cover some cotton balls in Vaseline (I do that inside of a bag). You can carry them in an old pill bottle (or if you have one, a 35mm film canister). Dig one out with the tip of your knife and throw some sparks on it with your ferro rod. The only thing better is a flame thrower.
