i was thinking it was more a metaphor for the humans (the hunter) trying to kill all the animals and nature. when he is going nuts chopping the stump in the breakdown it could mean mother natures heart, the animals team up and switch the tables on the humans and eventually come out on top, so we should respect it.. but like he says at the end "ohh man, that song made me trip out!" so who knows what it means it's amazing to hear these guys still making music, been a big listener for a while.
