Amazing Laura :D New title: Celebrity Succulent Designer to the Stars! hehe So fun and interesting to see the different projects and locales you work on. Great.
Hi Laura. I love your art work. It was my pleasure to meet you at Waterwise Botanicals! As my garden matures, I will send you a couple of pics (here in Escondido). Cheers! Adam S.
I just knew it! Every part of the installation is breathtaking. This may be you best installation yet. (Though the Thousand oaks installation is still close). Those lava boulders are a dream. Fantastic! Thank you for taking us on the grand reveal Laura. From the garden city of India to you and team DFS, have a fantastic Sunday. Cheers!
Wow this is one of my favorites. I oove the Aeonium Zwarkof as well. I love all of the huge rocks and barrel cacti. Thanks for sharing this wonderfully imspiring installation☺👍❤.
So gorgeous! You are so talented Laura. You have definitely inspired me and my love for succulents has definitely grown since this spring when I found your channel 🙌🏼. You are the best 😊
Great job Greg...... Love your beautiful plantings Laura..... Wish you could do Minnesota too!!!! Would need a warmer coat in February though. Maybe some snow boots. LOL kathy
I was wondering how you guys would deal with the fountain area. You managed to work it into the overall scheme without obscuring the sculptural beauty and simplicity of the feature. ~ I’ve used ‘swartzkopf’ as a signature repetition plant in a couple of gardens. It both gives a unifying sense to varied plantings and acts as a visual pause as one scans an area. ~ I sense that this project is going to be an opportunity to really spread your wings creatively. I’m looking forward to the coming fazes.
I've heard her say that spiders are good because they eat pests, and since then I've learned to tolerate them unless they're really making a mess of the plants. If the webs are in the rocks, I welcome them. I find that spiders are attracted to the landscape lighting because that draws in the insects, which equals dinner for them.
Planting that tight is not a good idea..you leave no room for plants to spread naturally. It makes low maintenance plants into high maintenance plantings.
WOW! Just wow. Don’t know how I missed this one. It’s my favorite so far and I have a lot of favorites.
Love it & loved Greg’s water comments (but loved Laura’s responses even more!)

Sooo beautiful and serene.
So much for tropical California in that garb. Aquarium stores are a great place to get colored gravels,my tip of day!

Laura, how do you deal with spiders making webs all over the perfect geometries? Do you have this problem?
I've heard her say that spiders are good because they eat pests, and since then I've learned to tolerate them unless they're really making a mess of the plants. If the webs are in the rocks, I welcome them. I find that spiders are attracted to the landscape lighting because that draws in the insects, which equals dinner for them.
Is there anything you can't do?
LOL, you never said which celebrity!
