    Wonderful video, as usual, Laura! We’re still chilly here, but remaining patient for the sun......only just! Lol! I have most of these specimens but they’re new, so everything is teeny tiny in comparison as well as some being partially crispy due to the winter winds........isn’t gardening great? You get pushed back down every now and then but hope prevails! What a good owner here.......I’d put in a Talavera something to echo the bench, but it’s really perfect now. Congratulations on the heart foundation $1000! Love xx

    Crassula ovata. 'argentea' is synonym but argentea indicates silveryness, and we don't want to 'confuse' with Crassula arborescens, i.e. silver dollar jade.

    Laura can you explain what it means when a plant crests? I think it looks odd but you make it sound like it’s a special thing!

    • @LauraEubanks
      @LauraEubanks  3 года назад +2

      No one knows exactly what inspires a plant to crest. Basically is a selective cell mutation that causes a distortion in the growth/shape of the trunk and leaves.
      It’s a very interesting anomaly much like the development of cranunculations on an echeveria.
