    Ole Miss D is what LSU needs to be worried about

      😂😂😂you must think your going against South Carolina or Kentuckys offense LSU has a top 3 offensive line and multiple receivers everywhere that will get open ole miss won’t win this game with their starters they are going to need their backups to be good also

      Their secondary is not very good calm down lol

    If LSU goes man to man against Ole Miss receivers, that will be a long day for LSU. He said that is what everyone has done against Ole Miss, but that has hardly been the case. Unless people are playing off and still playing man. No one has pressed Ole Miss receivers all year. If Tre Harris does not play, then that’s a different story.

      You press Ole Miss receivers, you get burnt.

    • @drake0074

      That goes both ways though. The Rebel DBs stink out loud and have no choice but hold receivers. Edge rushers vs offensive tackles will be key in this game. Both QBs are good and if given time they should have no problem finding an open receiver.

    • @FredPitre-o4b

      harris is the ONLY reb receiver with 20+ receptions. LSU has FOUR with 20+. ole miss secondary will be tested more saturday night than they have all year.

      @@FredPitre-o4b very true, ole miss secondary is suspect at best, it’s an intriguing matchup both ways

    • @breegis
      @breegis Час назад

      @@FredPitre-o4bit depends on the games that LSU has played, their receivers may have had more opportunities in the past to get more receiving yards and receptions, but ole miss has been able to do the same thing with only 1.
      If ole miss’ defense can handle LSU’s receivers, then it didn’t matter how good they may seem going into this game.
      The real test will be in playcalling, and both team’s defenses. Ole Miss has less coverage than LSU, so LSU should have more room to squeeze by, but ole Miss is able to break though and disrupt elite defenses, like what we saw when they played penn state last year.
      If Ole Miss wants to win the game, they need more coverage and they need to actually stop drives, instead of running around and not tackling infiltrating WR’s and TE’s.
      Ole Miss has a stopping issue. They can hold you off until you run the ball, or get your WR’s in.

    The worst news for LSU is that Dart has had two back-to-back marginal performances. That's not like him. He WILL right the ship. Might be this Saturday, might not be. My biggest concern is that our best receiver is questionable to play. Tre Harris is a game changer. Regardless, I believe this will come down to the Rebels' ability to dominate on defense. With the offense sputtering a bit, it will fall on the defense to contain LSU's offense. If we can hold LSU to fewer than 20 points it should go our way. But that's a big ask.

    • @garyboudreaux-s2f
      @garyboudreaux-s2f 7 часов назад

      A quarterback having back to back off performance weeks doesn’t mean he’s due a big game. I’d be concerned about Dart if I’m a Toddy Fan

      @@garyboudreaux-s2f Re-read my comment. I didn't say Dart is "due a big game." Those with reading comprehension can attest to the fact that I said it's unusual for Dart to have back to back bad games and that at some point he will get back to the level he's capable of.

      @@FredPitre-o4b I have no doubt LSU will be the best offense the Rebs face. And in years past that would scare me. But for the first time in 17 years we have a decent defense. This game likely will come down to three things: penalties, turn overs, and special teams. Otherwise LSU and OM are pretty equally matched.

    LSU should have WON, but the first 3 week BK didnt trust QB decision making, had him throw dump routes, (5 to 10 yards) allowing USC DB's stay inside the box, eliminating the running lanes.
    The last 2 games LSU allowed the QB to throw deep routes, stretching the DB's, hence opening running lanes.
    LSU DEFENSE, is also COACHES fault in playing LSU DB'S 10 to 15 yards off the ball, and allowing OPPENENTS OFFENSES to play run and dunk 5 to 10 yards gain all the way down the field.
    The CB's need to jammed up the OPPONENTS RECEIVERS at the line of scrimmage, giving edge rushers a chance to sack the OPPONENTS QB!

    Will league officiating rob the game LSU got everything they wanted an open date before and night time atmosphere. Go ahead and slight Dart but might have a night like Corral had at Tennessee a few years ago. The FG kicker has a stronger reach.
