Interesting video I located Alfred Wallis grave on one holiday visit very ornate I thought, nice to have chapels resurrected so to speak.

From Paula Stratton Oates : My nana and grandad Stratton, auntie GRACE, grandad JOHN STEVENS 44 years old and son JAMES STEVENS, was trampled with a horse and cart at 5 years old. I always remember my uncle J.D. Stevens walking me home through there many times and showing me an awfull lot of his schoolmates that died very young but I can’t remember what he said they died of, very very sad.
From Marlin Walsh : My daughter SIOBHAN aged 8 months (cot death)- no stone, there was only a cross which sadly disappeared long ago.
From Peter Symons : "My grandfather JAMES QUICK SYMONS is buried in Barnoon. He was a steward for the Hain line. He was captured when the Graf Spee sunk the Trevannion in the south Atlantic. He along with at lot of others was transferred to the prison ship Altmark, which eventually arrived in a Norwegian fjord and he was rescued by the RN. I suspect that his health was impacted as he died in 1943. Yet another link to the sea."

WILLIAM CARBINES (on the Titanic) is the grandson of the brother of my 4x great grandfather).

From Chrissy Chard, information about her father and grandparents : ERNEST WILLIAM CHARD died 3 October 1987 aged 74 and buried with his parents ERNEST ALBERT CHARD (d. 27 September 1924, 39) and BESSIE CHARD (d. 22 September 1956, 71).
From Cynthia Jenkin : Our grandparents are there too - CLARA and LEO COGAN. As children we would go there with Mum (Clara Uren) while she cleaned the headstone.
From Christine Ryall : My grandparents WIILIAM KELLY RALSTON 1941, MARGARET JANE STEVENS 1950 and my mother MARGARET JANE STEVENS 1985 are buried in Barnoon Cemetery. The cremated remains of my father CHARLES ROWE STEVENS 1994 and my husband SHAUN DONNELLY RYALL 2015 are in the same grave.
From Mick French : My Aunt Annie, as listed above as Miss S. H. Pearce, is buried in a war grave at Barnoon - SUSAN HANNAH. My late sister was named Susan after her.
My Great Grandfather J. S PEARCE is also buried at Barnoon. Whilst my Grandfather was alive, he always had a miniature wicker crab pot placed on his father's grave.

From Kirsten Maria Corin : My grandparents MYRTLE and WILLIAM CORIN and little FRANK CORIN and EDWARD CORIN ARE buried/commemorated at Barnoon. I visited from Australia two years ago to scatter my Dad's ashes at Clodgy and spent quite sometime walking around Barnoon trying to find their grave. I never met any not them so this is the closest I had ever been to my St Ives family.

Can anyone confirm if the 1985 rendition of Edith Wharton's story 'Bewitched was filmed here ?
The film was set in a seaside town with cemetery overlooking the sea with spectacular surf crashing around the rocks and jetties. Trying to find out where it was filmed.
I will look into this and if so will add the info here. My first instinct is to say I don't think so. The cemetery features in the 1980 film 'Raise the Titanic' but I have never heard of it being used for any other production.
@@Cornishpastyman: Hello and thanks for looking into this question. If you watch especially the beginning of 'Bewitched' (by Granada Productions) you will see that the cemetery and church look quite similar. The location intrigues me as the surf , cliffs and cemetery are rather striking. Perfect setting for this Edith Wharton story !
