That's what happens when people become the victims of peer pressure. They inadvertently unlock ancient evil monsters who go on a killing spree.

Bad news is you killed everyone and got basically kicked out of town good news is you get to go on a grand adventure to slay a ancient machine wile fighting for your life and battling blood thirsty monsters and trusting you're life in the hand's complete strangers. Oh whait that's still bad news.….

The more that you use spells, the more powerful they will become.

Bit of info on all the abbreviations and cut-off words for the younger generations: In early console generations, memory was at a premium, and many things in a game were difficult to move around without wrecking something else. (It was often easier to 'dummy out' abandoned content than delete it, and convenient testing commands remained in the form of cheat codes, like the ever-popular sound tests and level selection) This complicated matters when localizing Japanese games to America because Japanese text can compact a lot of meaning into a few kanji characters. This made it a problem for English text, since it wouldn't be easy to expand the size of text boxes or labels. Some solutions were more clever than others, such as creating additional symbols, like (Sword icon)Iron or whatever for games like the Final Fantasy series.
On the topic of one abnormally short abbreviation, I'm guessing "Kn" is a knife.

I never really had considered how icons could be utilized to combat the memory limitations, but it makes complete sense!

Top 10 SNES RPG Betrayals - Duke abandons Chezni. :P Haha. You know, if this seal was so fragile that anyone could break it, maybe you should have guarded that tower in some way. Putting this all on Chezni is a tad unfair. 13:20 Haha, yeah, seems like we are on the same wave length there. ;) I am sure you’ll have to return to the tower at some point. Otherwise it seems pointless to have that be the only building to survive.

LOL, I was so upset that Duke left me! I hope he did survive, just so I can beat him up for it.
Yeah, I'm going to also guess that we'll be returning to this location at some point! :3
