- In this video, I will show you 3 easy ways to get the day name from a date in Excel. So instead of a date, you can have the day name of that date (such as Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and so on)
The easiest way to do this is by changing the formatting of the cell, os instead of the date you get to see the day name. You can also the TEXT formula (which is also pretty straightforward).

I have some case in excel regarding xlookup.
I have got this question in the written test but didn't know that if there is a formula for that to show the difference and then take the percentage as total. So I think you are the right person to solve this issue. Please use the databases in the sheets named (Database1) and (Database2) to find the percentage of discrepancy/mismatch between the two databases for the columns (from column D to column K in both Database1 and Database2 sheets). *Note: please use formulas to solve this question and keep them (don't delete any) also keep all the steps that you use to solve this question. If you only added the result/number without the formulas and without the steps then you will not get any point on it.
Note the data was big it was like 300+ rows This is just the first row of sample DB1. For the DB2 was the same but different content. Which means the Same DB but entered data changed.

How can we find out what month a month is by knowing only its name?
For example, We have month name like "February" and we want to know the sequence number of month. How can we get it?
I want to know, if there is no date written on A column it will show next day of last date, I want it to show empty as A column. Anyone knows the formula for this?
My formula is a cell (=D6) and when I apply it to another column for the first cell it is taking the value of D6 but for the next cells it is taking the value of D7, D8
What should I apply formula so that the whole column takes only the value as the particular cell(=D6)
Not at all working..!?!?
May be excel had changed its coding....
