First of all, MJ's bedroom was not your average bedroom, it was the size of an Apartment complex. So it wasn't the intimate set up you have in your mind. Secondly, he would have slumber parties with a whole bunch of kids over, plus their parents and siblings. MJ's own nephews and nieces would all be there. They'd be watching cartoons and stuff and just fall asleep on his huge bed. Most times, he would sleep on the floor in a sleeping mat. You have to hear the stories of people who actually stayed at Leaving Neverland to get an accurate picture of what the scenario was like.

What bugs me is that the man has been dead for over a decade and isn't here to defend himself. I watched the 1993 Oprah interview with Michael because I was so thunderstruck by how little homework she did going into LN.

For much the same reasons as most people I´m guessing. It´s a movie production, not a documentary, and it´s built up to make you feel like you´re on these men´s side as in good v evil, then there´s the drone-shots, the music, the "evidence", all the old clips ( which I now know are completely edited and out of context). Also, I just couldn´t believe how someone can possibly sit there and lie about this, as well as their families. I saw both episodes of the movie and then the Oprah interview, then some mainstream media interviews, I took an overdose of bullshit, and I thought omg he really did it! Then a day later I felt uneasy about it, just a gut-feeling. After watching Oprah with all those victims in the audience I felt so guilty when I typed the words Is Leaving Neverland a lie? It felt like something forbidden and shameful to question "victims" so I didn´t expect a lot of results, but people were way ahead of me, debunking it completely. It took me several days to finally admit to myself that yes, they are sitting there just lying about it all. That felt weird. A week later I found my mum watching it and when I told her it´s all a lie she almost sounded angry "How can you be so sure?" Like most people she wasn´t going to bother with fact-checking, because she doesn´t care enough about a dead man´s reputation. It was easier to just agree with everyone else and not go against the stream and risk being thought of as pedo defender. It was more comfortable to just heap all the crap on MJ, who was always a weirdo anyway, it fits the world-view. But well, I see now he´s not the weirdo here, not at all. Actually this stupid movie has made me appreciate him a lot! Anyway I told my mum the reasons it´s all a lie and she couldn´t argue, it´s all just too obvious

1rst accussers dad on tape saying "if I go through with this I win big time". The kid got legal emancipation from his parents a year after the settlement. He refused to testify against Michael in 05.
2nd accussers mom said on the stand their family was held captive at Neverland and we're thinking of excaping in a hot air balloon. Yet during the time they were supposedly captive she was proven to be out by herself getting cosmetic work done.
New accussers Robson and Safechuck. Endless amount of holes but biggest to date are Robson and his family testified in 93 that they went on a trip to the Grand canyon together but in the documentary Wade says his family him left alone with Michael while they went on the trip.
Safechuck says he was molested at a train station at Neverland during his "honey moon" period with Michael, and he stopped being abused around age 14. Yet the train station wasn't built til Safechuck was 16 and he was bigger than Michael at that age. So what happened to Michael liking prepubescent boys?
The less we know about the accussers the better for them because if you tell a detailed lie about the most documented famous person of all time it will be found out.
Blaming a victim is saying you deserved what you got because you wore those slutty clothes etc questioning and researching an accusser is way different and absolutely necessary. This isn't a crime that necessarily leaves physical evidence, it's a he-said , she-said , where character and credibility are most important. The burden of proof is on the accusser not the accussed. Innocent until proven guilty.
