I’ve heard some guitarists say this song should have been purely an instrumental by Fleetwood Mac and that the singing is a bit superfluous to what is a fantastic Travis picking example. But this Glee rendition is great!

Live the whole bad play though, so its not like he does it by himself all the time, anyways all those guitars make the song more powerful imo. I imagine they did this so the musicians could get a chance in the spot light, easily one of my favorite glee covers.
They're likely all miming the parts for the filming but the first dude to come in is playing the song without a capo in fourth which which would put it in a different key. His finger picking miming is accurate enough that he clearly plays guitar, but clearly was faking it for that scene.
