That's what want to happen. So you can instruct when this happens you do that. Sometimes you have to mess around to get it. Worse scenario you order a new pan.
What do you like about Minnesota Brand traps over the others? New trapper here and just searching for good information on what traps are preferred. Thank you!
@@briancoots thanks! Our local hardware store has trapping supplies never saw one. Going to see if he can order one. I trap a little but boys 11 and 13 year old is full tilt for trapping.
No it's really not. Pan tension is. Night latching just ensures you get your pan level every time that's all. When it's done right you'll hear the click when the pan comes down to level and you know it's set where you want it. I prefer it but I know plenty of people who don't do it
@@justme4172 no you can just set pan tension and level the pan by pulling down on it if you want. Dukes aren't night latched unless you buy the pro series. Many other manufacturers have night latched traps right out of the box also. It's becoming a pretty standard thing.
Any day is A good one when I can learn something, espesially about trapping.

Great video! Thanks for the info
Thanks for sharing 👍
The pan was high on night-latch after you adjusted the last pan tension.
It's just a matter of bending the frame towards the pan at that point. Perfectly flat doesn't seem to make a difference in my opinion.
Is nite latching a must??
