They’re 2 cousins from New Orleans, Scrim (1st guy) & Ruby (2nd guy)
They’ve been sober for 5 & 4 years now
59 (G59/Grey59) is their own label and they’re the most successful independent artists ever
They have like 50 aliases both and each alias has their own style (flow & sound) Scrim was $carecrow and Ruby was Lord of Loneliness on this one

also you’ll hear 59 a lot here so i’ll just explain it
grey*59 or g*59 is their label that they own and their little group. they rep it all the time from the beginning of their career until now. currently they have 5 artists other than themselves signed to the label. shakewell, ramirez, chetta, night lovell, and my favorite, germ. they’re all fire and have a solid amount of music out, and they’ve also made collab tapes with everyone apart from chetta and night lovell, but they still have songs together

although i really love this song, this is not really a great start to trying to listen to them... you should maybe try to listen to $uicideBoy$ - Matte Black, 1000 Blunts, That's Just Not Empirically Possible, Misery in Waking Hours, Thorns, Fucking Your Culture, Champagne Face, Burgundy..... $crim was the first guy and Ruby Da Cherry was the second ....and no Ruby does not have a speech impediment they are cousins from New Orlean's and Ruby has insane flows, I dont really think I have heard another rapper who has quite as many unique flow patterns as Ruby .. They were Addicts heavily addicted and Both are now Sober, they also used to not believe in God and now since becoming sober $crim has found God so yea, earlier in their music they definitely were heavily depressive/suicidal in the literal sense of the word now they just turned $uicide into like "cult following" if you will. If you want or need to know anything about these guys just let me know what you would like to know.

Although we are not familiar with them it's really awesome to see they have such a cool Fan base! The cult following like you say! I really don't think there's many artists like this! So that's awesome to see. Alot of artists that get pushed by mainstream cant even sell and cancel shows. You guys really support! All this info helps us look for and understand what they are about and actually listen to their music instead of saying it's not good because we are not familiar with the sound. Btw just because I realized I left this out. $crim is the producer of all their music other than a few songs when they very first started out, only making that a point because he is highly regarded anyone who listens to them as one of the best most GOAT producers of all time, but I will let you two judge if you think same as all of us

Also I listened to this song on repeat when I was at my lowest on drugs and it helped me get through each day... they actually are the reason I was able to get clean I got sober right after scrim got sober seeing him be able to do it ik I could too
Hey much love Jo$e! Thats awesome! You guys have a great community man! Its lonely sometimes surviving in that environment and sobering up especially with some of our friends and loved ones that weren't able to make it. In a way we get to live for them even if we are the last of that tribe and its lonely not to have them, there is a lot of people experiencing the same feeling and it seems this is a great community to understand that and have that safe space to relate and not feel different. Or odd. Where there's survivors like you! Thank you for taking the time to share and salute brother! Stay strong!
