Back in the early 2000's I was in Philly with a group of co workers on a business trip and we ended up at Downey's and I guess this was before it went from sugar to $hit but the food was good from what I remember. Still got some photos from there good times back in the day.
Captain great video on Old Swedes church , great history. Olde Swedes is in the Queen Village neighborhood not really S Phila , Q Village is oldest neighborhood in Philadelphia. You should travel the neighborhood amazing History , settled by Swedes , Native A Indians , Weeaccoe, oldest streets homes in the City

Downeys, wow, my wife and I did some day drinking in that place back in the early 2000s but didn’t eat anything. Prime location at the time.
