- Old rusty butcher's knife restoration. I found this big rusty butcher knife in an old house. The knife was made by a blacksmith in the 19th century. I decided to restore it. I removed the rust from the blade, made a new handle from plum wood. I hope you liked my restoration.

It's official, it's impossible to handle a large knife without feigning a stabbing motion at least once! Nice work as always.
Wow! Beautiful job!
Nice having a reliable channel to watch
Excellent finishing😊
Love the reddish grain in the wood. Natural accent.
Great job. Interesting that the streaks in the plum wood are the colour of plums :)
Harika tebrik ediyoruz. Her sanatçı sanatını görmek ve göstermek ister.

Just wow!
Another great and beatiful restoration 👍👏🔪🥩
Congratulations and Greetings from Belgium 😉🇧🇪👋
Top Marks, my son loves the sandblaster in action.
Outstanding
I love this but would have liked to seen it in action, cutting meat, at the end!
Dope AF results, @ReXtorer!

Gorgeous restoration! 👍😎👍
Wow napakagandang kutsilyo.
That’s friggin amazing! Very cool
SKILLED
Excellent work. A bevel in the handle towards the blade would, I believe, have made it perfect. Thanks.
Beautiful Restoration
Nice. But this was easy. 💪😅
This is nice job 🌹
Thank you!
You are a professional as well as an artist
. Great sharing👍
This is a beautiful job man 😀😀
“It’s perfect”
Great restoration. I eanjoy the variety of pieces on your channel. 😄😄
Awesome man its beautifull 😮 you are the best.
Very cool, looks great.😊
I've watched a few of these videos now. I know there's an issue with regard to carbon content in the steel. That not withstanding have you considered adding weld metal to remove the pitting?
Some things money cannot buy.
Pretty sure that is a skinning knife for removing animal pelts, not a kitchen knife.
“Hm upgrades» Neo.

Why go through all the effort of sand blasting & rust removal if you're simply gonna run it under the wire wheel anyway? You could have just done that at the beginning & saved a lot of time & trouble.
Do you sell any of the things you restore?
Bro where's the cutting scene!!
It's not bad, but with this "mirror" the original look is lost 🤷🏻♂️.

Nice work as always. I was a bit surprised that you did not glue the scales. But I guess the pins being fit/secured so well negated that.
Epoxying the scales isn’t just to adhere them to the tang, but also prevents moisture from getting in there and rusting the steel.
Beautiful knife. That is a great restoration.
I was on forge in fire and won last place
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Süper ❤
One of my favorite things about sandblasting is fresh steel. You can have alot of fun writing things in the mill scale and shaping the blast profile. Used to draw all kinds of things.....
👍👍👍🙋🙋🙋
My opinion: This butcher knife is only good as a wall hanger. If you want to use it for food prep, you need to grind out ALL the pits. The blade is certainly thick enough to do that. It needs to be mirror smooth with no pits that can harbor food borne illnesses. Think E. coli & and salmonella, for example. Unless the cook is hyper vigilant about cleaning the blade after every use, you can almost guarantee illness.
