Enjoyed your video series on the Johnson reels. I drive by the old Johnson Reel factory in Mankato on a regular basis. Each time I drive by it I smile and recall the days when that place was bustling.

That bait twitcher looks more like marketing to fishermen than actually catching fish. Very interesting videos. I understand this one Rick. - Chris

The old johnson citation and century were amazing reels
    The sabra was great too
When they went to plastic and graphite the reels really went down the toilet in my opinion
An exception to this is the guide series which I hear are excellent reels
Interesting is that Mitchell had a reel identical to this one which was called spider cast
It even has the Pulse action feature

Thanks for the info on the Spider Cast reel. I didn’t know that. Have you ever fished with one of these pulsing reels. I’m going to have to try this one out.
I keep hearing about what a great reel the Guide is, I’m going to have to try one.

      It's a Larger reel
