Unpowered decoys, flares and chaff all have physics problems that should be trivial to ignore: - Flares & decoys will decelerate along a parabolic path. Not very hard to filter out. - Flares don't work at all against imaging IR seekers (which is to say against China nor Russia). - Chaff has massive surface area & minimal weight, and will decelerate massively before falling slowly (again, easy to filter). Targeting radar is always doing bayesian calculations of the set of possible ways a vehicle could move. A jet traveling 300+ MPH can't decelerate like any of those devices will. I feel like the lecture discussed principles through the early 1980s (and only _mentioned_ newer projects)... At least until the Q&A. I really wish I were there however, I'd love to have asked about the above challenges and: - Why can't radar use frequency [patterns] to identify it's signal / return against a background of noise. I'd strongly recommend the channel _Millennium 7 * HistoryTech_ as it's very, very educational.
This feels like wannabe expert being insulted, you even drop the yt channel name...😆. Chaff blinds the radar and yeah its not silver bullet even when notching but the missile fired dozens of km away cant afford small mistakes that makes it miss by 50m. Flares aren't super effective against modern missiles when they locked you but pre flaring can deny the lock in the first place, besides, there is still chance of confusing even modern missiles. Fox 2 being too fast, close and basically undetectable on most planes unless pilot expects it, means flares are used 80 percent of the time as precaution. Calculating position of the target doesn't mean its 100 percent there and as far as ground clutter radar noise, i dont think the frequency matters cause you know... it is noise. I play sims like dcs, as you prob also, so it shouldn't be surprise that chaff and flares do nothing on their own without some strategic positioning and kinematic defense. See, i am also wannabe expert.
Most anti-air weapons use radar to detect and track targets; ECM still applies there. Some systems can use optical tracking - lasers might as well do this, a few SAMs do it already (SA-11 can), but simply for detecting the presence of an aircraft you need radar, or else you’re mostly just sticking you head out and looking around for planes, it’s not that effective.
This feels classified but i bet the people that want to know these already know And with A.I , i think tracking and signals intelligence is going to go to a whole new level
I'm currently being targeted by electromagnetic radiation microwaves, and narcissism is involved, and the targeted justice team is in the early stages of putting together a lawsuit. God-bless.
Do you call a full scale war in the middle of Europe „ a Conflict“ ???? I thought that a conflict can happen in an outlook calendar but not at the place were cities are leveled and civilians are bombarded…
These people live in the MIC (military industrial complex). They work there for "private" companies owned by intel and big money from politicians and banks. These are the people that create wars for profit. They are the enemy of the people on this globe.
A great presentation.
I am a proud sub contractor to Leonardo’s infrared countermeasure system.
Very nice! I am doing an EPQ on NATO jet fighters, so some things here were very useful!
Thanks for the wonderful presentation. ❤
What a great presentation, I even understood a lot of that. LOL

Was the vacuum gag a sly Millennium *7 reference?
Are Electronic Counter Measures capable of countering laser emitting or microwave systems?

Could you please share a downloadable link of this presentation, please?
sorry mahira vasudeva , reboot
lol use google. It takes me 3 seconds to start DL of any youtube video. e.g. Tubemate is great for android. Not on playstore ofc.
If you can see it on your screen btw you have actually downloaded it.
Vey interesting info.
how sensitive information can be done on instruments that are on my system .....does it look clerical ??
Mr cheese
By 2035, you won’t need pilots! Drones will be in vogue!
I'm currently being targeted by electromagnetic radiation microwaves, and narcissism is involved, and the targeted justice team is in the early stages of putting together a lawsuit. God-bless.
I'm sincerely sorry you're having... troubles.
I pray you find peace.
@KeepZeeZ thanks. psalm23 and psalm91 the strongest prayers in the Bible. God-bless.
@@dougstobaugh376 🙂 Hebrews 12 (v4-13) being another good one...
You might find a Charles Spurgeon sermon edifying, thereto:

You need psychological help.
I counted 524 uses of the word “bit”. Other than that, good presentation.
the only individual talent in this field is the only one who can see and imagine the unseen ☺
