Honestly I loved everything in Boxycharm. I tried all 3 kinda of ipsy and everything I got for that year I gave away. Too much random, cheap stuff and too much skincare. Boxy is the way to go for high end makeup

I personally did boxy for the last 3 months, two months I had missing items and damaged boxes. not to mention everything was like mostly face serum even though I wanted makeup and I requested it on my quiz. I'm giving ipsy a shot for at least the next 2 months if they can't out do boxy then I'll go back.
For now though boxy is not really worth it not with the stuff that they have been coming out with.
Alamar has amazing products! I love the eyeshadow and blush palettes!!
I agree that they need to check our profile for our complexion. When they gave us all Fenty products, they gave me the darkest shade for the highlight stick. I couldn't even use it!!! I should have got the pink or the champagne color. Boxycharm has been slipping lately on there products. The boxes have been kinda bluhhhhh.
I could only use one product in the whole gently box. I don’t understand why boxy can’t use the quiz but ipsy can.
Same here and the lipstick they gave me was almost black lol none of it worked for my skin tone

I love Ipsy and boxycharm! 95% of my makeup all my skincare has came from sub boxes. If there is something I need I just get it from add ons or pop up! The reg glam bags you can’t beat it. The alamar brushes are amazing! I use the complexion brush for bronzer and blush , they pick up product and blend so well. Try them you will be surprised.

I agree with everything you’ve said!! IpSy regular glam bag is worth it, but their bigger boxes aren’t the best. And BoxyCharm regular box has completely went down hill, but their Premium and Luxe are still pretty good. March Boxyluxe wasn’t though. I do like how they mix up the skincare, makeup, and lifestyle. That’s fun in my opinion!! I love receiving a random water bottle, teeth whitening, or pillow case. I’m also glad they quiz you on what you want more of, bc I know some want makeup only. Great video!!

Omg. Love my Sunday Riley. I signed up for July Ipsy plus just because they offered a Sunday Riley as a choice. It’s their sleeping oil, which I love. A $55 product. 😍 i got the June Luxe box, the Kylie face wash is ok. My face felt kind of tight but not dry. Did not do a very good job of getting of my mascara as I had to scrub. Liked the brushes. And I liked the primer. Thanks for the tip on Tula. This was my first Luxe box and I really liked it.

We got the tarte face pallets that have highlighters and blush, contour...never seen this particular pallet since I've been with Boxycharm for about 4yrs. Love love the tula. The Kylie I wanted to like it so much, but i used it for a week. It literally burned my face a bit more every time i used it. Then by the end of the week i had sores from it around my eyes. I used it with my pmd. So I dont know if that helped in this reaction. What I can say I used that pmd daily with a combo of 3 other cleansers and I've not ever had that experience at all. If I get brave I may try it again but without the pmd and see if that helps. Just seriously be careful and dont leave it on for too long.
I got the June Ipsy Glambag for the first time and was super impressed. I didn’t get any of the same stuff you did though. Got an Ofra highlighter and was so stoked about that.
i think a lot of boxes are having a hard time getting items from the quarantine
Boxy is really the only one struggling. I'm subscribed to many different types and they're the only ones dropping the ball. Everyone else just ships later at worst. Or I've had a box ship an item individually because of a long delay. Boxy is making it worse by repeating, not using profiles for colors, and using expired products. I want my boxes to end so bad but they're ignoring people now too
@@metroskyes5974 I actually just scheduled mine yesterday, I had the same problem. I watched my friend get her ipsy bag loaded with good stuff, then I got mine the most boxy sent that was good was an eyeshadow and too face concealer. I took the quiz and still they sent me stuff that I don't like, definitely not custom

You'll love the Weleda baby face cream for your girl. It has calendula, they have a whole line! I bought for my niece when she was born and she never once had dry skin! I
Thanks for doing a mega comparison because I was thinking about subscribing to ispy. Now I am not so sure. I think in the past ipsy was way more glam? The bags, yeah, thought they would be bigger. Thanks. You are saving me money. I will continue watching and do individual purchases or go direct to buy.

I actually really liked two months in one video as well! I was already thinking of skipping a month or two for some of my subscriptions and this has shown me I should. Definitely won’t cancel, but I’ll be skipping unless I see some spoilers I feel like I can’t go without 😉

In your Ipsy profile, did you say that you rarely wanted berry lip shades? I’ve had both subscriptions, but I think the main benefit to Ipsy is that each month you can change your preferences. If you didn’t open your boxes each month, and adjust your preferences based on what you’ve already received or didn’t want more of- you can’t really be objective in your review...
I currently have the IPSY GLAM BAG and I love the monthly makeup bag that comes with the products.
Love that colored rain pallet. I got bronze colors. It's such a great formula

I got the exact same May boxycharm base box as you with the hourglass bronze flash. I am pretty pale so i was really disappointed but I’ve actually been using at as a glowy bronzer and I love it!

Love your videos. FYI the touch in sol product is very watery. It's more like a skincare essence rather than a primer.

I think you are probably thinking of the Tarteist Pro Remix which we got first in the March 2020 BoxyLuxe. I didn't receive BoxyLuxe for June because it didn't look that impressive other than the Tarteist Pro which I had already by purchasing it as an add-on with FabFitFun. It is such a good palette though.
I also got two packs of sheet masks in my box and was confused why I had two, but wasn't complaining about it! I'll definitely use them! :)
Cetaphil has a baby wash and shampoo with organic Calendula. I've been using it on my baby since birth. it smells divine plus it doesn't irritate my son's sensitive skin. I always purchase it from amazon for a cheap price. i recommend it !
Madison you need to try the Alamar brushed they are amazing. I love using them.
I also received the bronze shade for the hourglass highlighter. I can't use it either and was definitely sad, because that was the choice item and I could not use it.

i had ipsy last year and they sent me a full size ofra highlighter and a pacifica blush and bronzer duo both of which i still use a lot
I got the same eye cream and ciate London color. That eye cream is halfway gone and has made a difference slowly in my dark circles. I'm one that has heavy dark circles so that was a big W for me!

I got 2 packs of masks also! And it's interesting they gave you a repeat item without emailing you. When I got a repeat gloss ( but it was a different color) they gave me a ton of extra points to redeem and emailed me apologizing. Another reason I love Ipsy!!

Everyone speaks so highly of Roller Lash. I was super excited to try it, but ended up throwing it away. It’s one of those that stays a little sticky and doesn’t dry down all the way. It probably has something to do with the extreme humidity in Arkansas.
I'm in Georgia. The humidity down here feels like you're breathing underwater, lol, and Roller Lash dries down all the way for me. Love that stuff. So crazy how a product can perform so differently from one person to another.
I've been loving my standard glam bag. I love these videos bc I've been thinking about trying an ultimate or boxy as well!
I'm an Ipsy and boxycharm member myself but obviously some products I would love to receive but don't. So to have a second chance at maybe receiving them would be AWESOME!!!

I actually LOVE the Kylie Face wash. You only need the tinest pump of foam to get a nice creamy face wash. I would welcome receiving this again in another box OR may buy when I can get it nicely discounted. Thats how much I'm enjoying it.
I too wish they would put the product lists/descriptions back in the box’s. I currently get the ipsy plus but have been thinking of changing to Ipsy ultimate. I personally think they took all the descriptions out of the box because on the app it will list what is coming in your box, about the product, how to use the product and the price. That being said I STILL WANT IT IN YHE BOX too!!

Try the hourglass just incase. I looked at mine and thought the same thing, but it just melted into my skin and matched perfect!
I think you should go back to work at ipsy than maybe it will be good again. I only get the $12 bag but I always get the same things since they sold it.

I really enjoyed this style of unboxing. It really let me see a lot side by side. That shower gel smells like a cleaning product to me💁🏼♀️. I’ve used it only once, but I’ll use it up. The smell just is not for me. Normally I’m not this picky🤪

The products are overall better in Boxycharm boxes, but unlike Ipsy Boxycharm does not look at your beauty quizzes to match your coloring. I have red hair and also got the dark brown Kat Von D brow pomade and have received concealers that are way too dark for me. I don't understand why they don't do something about that problem.

@@lolalre Atleast that's what happened to me. So try to look at the Ipsy app & notice the dates. On the 2nd of every mth you can see all 5 of the products in your bag/box. Plus you can purchased up to 8 extras ranging from $3 to $18. Closer to the end of the usually the week of the 20th (changes each mth) you get to chose 1 item that you would like. You get 4 or 5 options. Just remember to pay attention on the app it will shows you the dates of everything even once you package ships. Lmk if you have any other questions.
I believe when you order before the last day of the month, you get that month. So I'm pretty sure you will get June hun...

The first boxycharm unboxed is all items from past boxes , you recieved a leftover box pretty much I received all those items in the past I've been unsubscribed for a few months now, that's probably why the shades weren't based off your profile.

Hi Madison .. I wanted to let you know that Kyle face wash isn’t safe to use if your pregnant or if you are planning on breast feeding . I’m not sure what ingredient it is but it can transfer to the baby if you breast feed. My daughter is pregnant so she checked into it so I wanted to tel you. You have to have the base box in order to get Boxyluxe. If you only get the Premium Box, then unfortunately you can't get the Luxe box.

I got the same palette for my May bag & I hated it. I don’t use purple because every time I try to create something it looks like someone punched me. ): I was SUPER disappointed with the whole bag because of it. The serum is pretty good for my first serum ever & I also got the eye brow gel & I use it but it’s nothing life changing. 🤷🏻♀️ Im hoping July is a lot better. (I skip a month because I don’t use much makeup already). I also don’t like that they’re not giving us descriptive cards! Also that they’re not giving us bigger bags for the glam bag plus. When I switched to glam bag plus I was so excited about the bags because they’re big enough for me to actually use for my pencils & pens as well as makeup when I travel. The small ones are just way too small in my opinion /:
